The Granary is situated in a rural but not isolated location outside the small village of High Hurstwood in an area of outstanding natural beauty offering stunning views over the farm. Well located for Buxted Park, historic Lewes, famous Glyndebourne Opera House, Ashdown Forest, Tunbridge Wells & coastal towns of Brighton & Eastbourne. The Granary stands in the grounds of the owners' farm offering peace & tranquility. It has a large private fenced garden & patio/BBQ. Good walking in nearby Buxted Park & Ashdown Forest & on footpaths within a few mins stroll of the property. Buxted Station in under 10 mins has hourly Train service to London. Nearby Uckfield offers good local shops, cinema & supermarkets. Sheffield Park, Blue Bell Railway, Llama Park & many National Trust properties & golf courses within an easy drive. Excellent local pubs within a few mins drive.

We are approx 35 mins to Brighton and Eastbourne, Alfriston & the nearby Druiselles Zoo, '1066' Country including Battle, Hastings & historical Rye & nearby Camber Sands Beach.

The local village of High Hurstwood offers an excellent Pub, Church & Village Hall. Very good local walking area with extensive footpaths accessed from the farm. Easy access to Ashdown Forest, Glyndebourne & South Downs. Local fishing in Buxted and further afield at Bewl Water in Kent.

    Our Minimum rental period is a 4 Day Short term break, subject to availability @ 75% of the seaso weekly Rate.

    On acceptance of a booking, we require within 10 days, return of the Booking Form & 50% Deposit. The balance is due 6 weeks prior to arrival, and the £100 Refundable Security Deposit is returned when you leave.

    Regret not suitable for children under 5 & due to our livestock we cannot accept any pets. We run a strict no smoking policy which we ask guests to kindly respect.

    All linen is included . Towels are charged @ £5 per guest if required.

The Granary was recently converted into an extremely spacious 3 bedroom cottage offering good quality accommodation for 5. A large oak door opens into the terracotta tiled entrance lobby with boot rack & coat hooks, leading through to a large kitchen once an old stable, with creme units, farmhouse sink, table, dresser, Cooker, Dishwasher, Washing Machine, Microwave & large fridge/freezer. The dining area contains dresser, settee, & round table with 5 chairs. Leading off is the downstairs single bedroom with wrought iron bed, creme wardrobe & chest of drawers. Adjacent to it is a new Victorian style bathroom. Feature wooden staircase leads to a large comfortable lounge with comfortable leather settees, coffee tables, TV and Music Centre and well stocked book shelf, Upstairs is carpeted throughout

Extremely spacious carpeted twin room with wrought iron beds, fitted cupboard, dressing table, full length mirror & TV. Feature arched window with panoramic views.
