The Old Post House is a cosy and comfortable holiday cottage situated in the pretty conservation village of Kilconquhar. It has a mature and secluded garden with a good sized lawn an ideal area for children to play or relax with the family. The house has two twin bedded rooms one with basin. There is a family sized bathroom with shower over bath. The downstairs is open plan which gives a light and airy feel and comprises, of, sitting room, dining area, conservatory, kitchen and small cloakroom with wc and wash hand basin. The house is tastefully decorated and was awarded a 4 star rating with Visit Scotland in 2006. Bed & breakfast is also available at The Old Post House, and the rate for this is £35 per person, per night.

'Kilconquhar ' is an attractive conservation village which has won'The Best Kept Village Award' and is a very safe and pretty place to spend your holiday.The East Neuk Villages are enchanting and are to be found dotted along part of the coastal walk between Elie and Crail .The clean beaches and sandy coves are in abundance and are delightful on nice summer days.If golf is your game there is a choice of about forty courses not to mention The Old Course at St. Andrews. Anstruther is a quaint coastal village with a new marina and some fun harbourside cafes where one can sit and watch the world go by. The university town with it's historic ruins and golfing history is a must and has lots of new and exciting shops.There is also a Tesco's in the town and Morrissons on the outskirts. Fife has good bus and rail services and by car Perth and Edinburgh an hrs drive .The Byre theatre in St.Andrews has some great shows and is a nice place to eat.

The accomodation is open-plan, has a cloakroom with wc and wash hand basin. Country-style, well equipped kitchen with french doors leading out to garden. Dining area with seating for six. Sitting room with living flame fire, TV, DVD and CD system. Sunny conservatory with views onto garden and hills beyond. The house has two twin bedded rooms, one which can be made up into a kingsize. It has an attractive and well maintained garden bordered by a rose trellis, large lawn and perfectly safe for children.

Golf: Golf is a widely played sport in the East Neuk of Fife, with some forty golf courses to choose from. The Royal and Ancient Golf Club and the famous Old Course at St.Andrews are renouned throughout the world. Not every course requires one to be a member and there are many pay and play courses which are of a very high standard not to mention the new castle course with it's breathtaking views.
