Lovely house situated in a quiet village in the centre of the Cherbourg Peninsula. Fantastic location for exploring the local area as well as the D-Day landing beaches and other places of interest. If you are looking for complete rest and relaxation this is the place to go.

Nearest Ferry: Cherbourg at 45 Minutes
Apart from the beaches, there are many attractions, including the weekly markets (Wednesday in La Haye du Puit), D-Day landing beaches, Bayeux with its tapestry and cathedral, Le Mont St Michel etc. There are also a number of sporting activities nearby, such as golf courses (including mini golf), excellent go-karting track, canoeing, forest adventure (climbing, zip lines etc and which comes highly recommended), pedaloes, and of course the petanque pitch in the village itself. In this area there is also an animal park which will appeal to young children, and a water park and numerous other family activities.

  • We are very flexible as to changover times and this can be discussed on an individual basis.

    The nearest port is Cherbourg (only 45 minute drive) and we can obtain a discount with Brittany Ferries for guests.

    Guests will need to bring their own bed linen (just sheets, duvet covers and pillow cases) and towels/tea towels.
