It is centrally located and within a one minute walk from the beach and many of the best restaurants and bars in Brighton and Hove. Almost all the main tourist and shopping facilities in Brighton can be reached within no more than a ten minute walk including Brighton Sealife Centre, The Palace Pier and The Royal Pavillion, the Historic Lanes shopping area, Brighton's Theatre Royal and Kemptown. The flat is ideally suited for couples looking for a short break, or for those with children or those attending Conferences at the nearby Brighton Centre. It is only a fifteen minute walk from Brighton and Hove stations. Street parking and NCP carparks are located within a short walk from the flat as well. I booked a holiday here to celebrate our 10th wedding anniversary and was really very impressed by the quality of accommodation. The apartment was if anything better than shown in the advert. Very beautiful, with high ornate ceilings, immaculate high quality furnishings all done to the highest standard and at the level of the very best boutique hotels. The location was great too at the top of a stunning square with the beach at the bottom. Very central too for restaurants, shops, tourist attractions etc. You don't also need a car here but unusually for central Brighton the owner was able to arrange a parking space for us which was a real help as parking in Brighton can be a bit challenging. We very much hope to come back again soon!

Wonderful Short Break

Great property all equipped to a very high standard with all mod cons. including ipod docking stations, HDTV, free wifi, nice little touches such as expensive toiletries. The flat actually looked better in real life than in the photos. The location was brilliant at the top of a very picturesque square and within a short walk from restuarants, the beach etc. Parking in Brighton can be a problem. We spent £25 a day in car parks on our last trip but the owner managed to arrange very cheap parking directly outside the building which was easy to use. This was brilliant when you have a small child and all the baggage that comes with this! Travel cot and highchair was also available for use. The flat itself was also very cosy and we made full use of the open fire! We very much hope to come back next year.

The appartment is comfortable but not fabulous . First because you can't see the sea from the appartment window as it is said in the presentation of the property. Most of the windows are in an internal court. From the other two, you can see the square and the parking in front of the building.
Anyway, the appartment is quite small. There isn't a table in the kitchen so you have to walk to and fro down the corridor up to the living room. There is no high chair in the appartment. So the toddlers have some problems with having their meals.
There are many restaurants in the neighbourhood but with children it is not quite easy to have all the meals out.
The appartment is not insulated so the cold and the wind may create some problems if you turn off the heating. Especially in the bathroom, it is quite cold.
There is a parking in front of the building; you have to pay around £6 a day and it is difficult to find a place there. I preferred not to move the car at all because of the impossibility to find a parking place in the neighbourhood. Parking is a real problem in Brighton!
The property was clean and well maintained. The facilities were all there and of high quality.
The customer service was the minimum requested but not sufficient for a foreigner . People who come from outside UK must get a lot of supplementary information, including the communication service which I found different from the continent. Texting and calling a mobile phone in Brighton doesn't require dialling the country code first (if you have a roaming service, of course)
Brighton is beautiful and there is a lot to do in the city. Visiting the sights, shopping, eating, walking, jogging, having fun.
The bus service is good but, for children over 7 you have to pay the full price ticket.
I found the property not quite proper for family with children, not young children, anyway.
