Traditional features combined with contemporary fittings make for a truly special cottage with outstanding views on the banks of the River Lossie. Just a quiet road separates the cottage from the bridge across the river to the fabulous East Beach. With a large living/dining area as well as a separate lounge, a king size double and a twin room, four people can easily feel at home here. We can also provide a cot or an extra camp bed for those with young families.

Visit the ruins of Elgin Cathedral ‘Lantern of the North’, once second in importance only to the cathedral at St Andrew’s. Get an insight into Scottish history with a local perspective at Elgin Museum, one of the oldest in the country. See the collection of vintage cars and motorbikes at Moray Motor Museum. Cawdor and Brodie castles are close by. Explore the ruins of Duffus Castle, with its old motte and bailey (also a great vantage point if the fighter jets are taking off from RAF Lossiemouth). Follow the Malt Whisky Trail and visit a distillery or ten! Go Horse Riding. Baxters Highland Village for some shopping, a bowl of their famous soup, and a pancake with ice cream and toffee sauce….. Visit the only mill in Scotland to transform fibre to finished product at Johnstons Cashmere Visitor Centre and Shop (also good for homebakes!!) This was our second time at seatown cottage, and it never disappoints, ideal location for those who have pets, the accomodation is clean and well equiped. we would recommend it to all our family and friends without hesitation. we intend to book next year but will try the sister cottage at Burghead.

This cottage looks good on the internet but is even better than it looks! Location couldn't be better, opposite the beach and 5 minute walk into the town centre.

It is modern, comfortable and very welcoming, lovely beds/linen, excellent heating for those Autumn/Winter breaks, very clean and tidy and a lovely kitchen with all the amenities you expect these days and a few you don't (tumble drier/wifi etc).

Excellent customer service from the Owner, we would definitely recommend this to all our friends.

Lossie is a lovely area, handy for the air base if you are into Tornado's! Great beach and forest walks nearby at Roseisle and Culbin Forests. Excellent ice-cream at Miele's and we really like the Duffus Inn for eats in the little hamlet of Duffus a few miles from Lossie.
