After arriving at the property directions from the Londis Store may need to advise that parking in the high street at peak times can sometimes be a pain, we tried to park to drop off our cases etc and couldnt park therefore having to resort to driving to the car park, paying to park for an hour, carrying our cases etc in 2 trips to the apartment 10 minute walk, get the parrking pass to walk back over put the pass in the car and walk back again and after a 5 hour journey this is the last thing you want... The apartment however was fantastic, very modern and the views over the harbour was amazing, the noise on a Saturday night was annoying but is to be expected in a town location... Apartment was clean and tidy and very well maintained... On leaving the apartment we had the same pain of having to walk back to the car drive to the apartment try and park to put the car park pass back into the apartment the start our journey home, this could be improved, but our overall experience of the apartment and Looe was good....

Owner's Response: Many thanks for taking the trouble to review your experience in Looe. The parking situation is awful we can freely admit, but, by definition, characterful fishing villages in Cornwall did not evolve (and they certainly were not planned) with 21st century vehicles in mind. We do our best to provide high quality accommodtaion in a beautiful spot but the provision for cars is a problem & could only be resolved by sacrificing much of the ethos that draws visitors here year after year.
Although facilities for cars will remain a pain hopefully there were sufficient compensations to attract you back to this lovely part of Cornwall at some future time.
