Casa Ninho is situated on the south facing slopes of Foia, the highest mountain in the Algarve. Easily accessed by tarmac road to the end of the drive. It is a peaceful haven for those who prefer a quiet secluded holiday location. The town of Monchique is about 4km away and there are two excellent restaurants within walking distance. The villa is equipped to a very high standard and is extremely comfortable. With a private heated pool, BBQ terrace, breath-taking views all go to make this a really fantastic holiday location either to just relax in, or explore the locality.

Recently refurbished to a very high standard this villa provides a perfect base for your holiday in the Algarve. Sleeping 8, the villa offers four bedrooms, two double and two twin rooms. All bedrooms have fully fitted en-suite bathrooms. The villa is centrally heated for the cooler months.

The fully fitted kitchen includes a range cooker, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. The dining area has a large family dining table and the lounge offers TV, DVD, CD, SKY and mini disk player.

Balcony, terrace, BBQ terrace and pool terrace all face south with breath taking views. 10m x 4m heated swimming pool.

Thank you for letting us stay in your lovely villa, it had everything we needed, the children slept well as the evenings are so pleasant up in Monchique and that meant we slept well! The pool, barbeque and terraces were great. Its close enough yet far enough away from the madness of the coast, and Monchique itself is as charming as ever.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Muito obrigado. We have really enjoyed our stay in your lovely villa, it is so well equipped with superb views in a peaceful location. Your hard work has paid off. Enjoyed the coast, much like Donegal with sun! Food good in local restaurants. Favourite places, Burgan, view from Foia & Lagos coves. Even with our lack of Portuguese we have been made most welcome in the local shops & restaurants.

Marvelous holiday

We have had a marvelous holiday and thoroughly enjoyed Casa Ninho which is so comfortable and well equipped. Some great days at the beach - we liked Monte Clerigo best but also borrdeira and Odeixca and a good day out in Silves. Taking home some great memories and definitely hoping to come back.

I must thank you for letting us spend such a great holiday at your villa. We have stayed in many villas over the years including several at Monchique but I have to say that Casa Ninho was by far the most comfortable and well-equipped. There was everything we needed and many thoughtful touches that were most appreciated. The kitchen was more than adequately furnished with crocks etc - our sole complaint is that the teapot is not family size ! The weather was perfect throughout, the pool well patronised and the Rampa and Paraiso seem hardly to have changed since we first came to Monchique 25 years ago. We had an excellent holiday so thank you again, Simon. We hope to be back in the future.

What a superb villa

What a superb villa, so well equipped and very comfortable. We've had a very relaxing week and enjoyed the pool and BBQ. Amazing views from Foia, just 5 minutes up the hill. We ate twice, Esplanada - Very friendly, great food and atmosphere and Parai so de Montaina at the top of the drive - very friendly and super food. Visited one beach west coast and went to Cabo de san vincente.
