Situated on a peninsula, the town of Side has an amazing variety of historic and natural attractions for you to enjoy, with a wide selection of tourist accommodation, shops, late-night bars and restaurants set amongst the ruins of the ancient city. In the centre of town, are the remains of the Roman baths and the magnificent 2nd-century theatre with stunning views towards the sea. Streets that lead down to the sea are full of activity, with an abundance of souvenir shops selling Turkish handicrafts like carpets, jewellery, leather goods and delicious Turkish delight. During the last two weeks in September, Side hosts a festival of culture & art in the Amphitheatre. This is extremely popular so you should book your tickets in advance.

Airport transfers may be arranged for you from £70.
