With stunning seaviews towards La Gomera and a private roof top pool, this spacious, beautifully furnished and well equipped apartment is located 2 minutes walk from the beach in the relatively new resort of Palm Mar, to the east of Los Cristianos. Located in the luxurious Playa de Los Menceyes Complex, this apartment overlooks the sea front some 100m away and features two spacious balconies. Palm Mar is a quiet resort some 10-15 minutes from the South Airport (Reina Sofia) surrounded by nature reserve and the mountain of Guaza which separates it from the more lively resort of Los Christianos (10 mins by car). There are however ample restaurants and bars to keep you entertained only a minutes walk from the apartment. Fishing is popular here together with snorkeling, diving and walking (Jaques Cousteau dived here), and most of Tenerife's golf courses are within 15 mins drive. There are ample food shops within easy walking distance. English is spoken in local shops and restaurants.

Additional information about rental rates

  • We are happy to accept payment in sterling, Euros and Paypal as well as cheques and cash! The price stated is for the apartment for a week ie 7 days, we do not have specified changeover days so feel free to choose your own. However we do require that the apartment is vacated by 10am to ensure it can be cleaned and presented to a high standard for the next guests. (If you have a late flight we may be able to offer a later leaving time as long as there is not a party arriving the same day - please discuss in advance). Also for the same reason the apartment is not available to incoming guests until 4pm, although if you have an early flight please ask us before.

    There is no surcharge for 'extra' people - the price is simply for the apartment. There are 3 double beds (one double in main bedroom, 2 double good quality sofa beds in the lounge area) so we can comfortably accommodate 4/6 people. An optional air bed is available on request - please request at the time of booking.

A very spacious (96 sq m inc balconies) one bedroom apartment (sleeps 4) located on the third floor of a small complex of privately owned properties protected by security gates accessed using magnetic keys. There are lifts to all areas. The beautiful rooftop pool, which is for residents only, features a terraced sunbathing area, toilets and showers as well as patio tables and chairs and sun loungers for a relaxing atmosphere. From here you can see stunning views across the sea to La Gomera and across the resort or you can just lie on your back and look up to the sky while the sun warms you! The apartment comprises of: spacious lounge with dining area with large covered balcony facing south, equipped with two high quality sofa beds, flat screen tv, dvd, video, cd player, radio and is superbly furnished.

The bedroom has a high quality double bed with Tempur matress (see Guest Book for comments on the quality!), private balcony, en suite with sunken spa bath and shower, separate shower cubicle, wc and two wash basins. There is a further toilet and washbasin off the main hallway. The American style kitchen features electric oven and ceramic hob, dishwasher, toaster, microwave, large fridge freezer, separate utility room with washing machine iron and ironing board. There is a dining table with seating for 4 as well as a breakfast bar with a further 2 seats. Alternatively you can eat on the spacious balcony and listen to the waves! Underground parking is available if requested and there is a lift directly from the basement to the floor the apartment is on. A peaceful retreat in Paradise. Highly recommended

The apartment is super. Forget the photos on the website, they're but a glimpse of what this apartment is really like, for they cannot describe the feeling you get once you're past the doorway. Very tastefully decorated throughout with good size living/dining area + a wonderful private balcony facing the sunset. Everything you need is provided at a high standard and there's lots of info, maps, brochures detailing most of the things you can do on the island. The bedroom/en-suite facilities are well finished and there's even the bubble bath to comfort any tired legs after a day on the nearby beaches. Su & Alan were very right about the mattress; we're contemplating getting one just like it for our bedroom. The building is highly secured and provides free underground parking. Palm Mar is a up market resort with few restaurants, convenience stores and a bank. Fishing can be enjoyed just 100m from the apartment, while diving can be arranged in the nearby waters at reasonable prices. I would recommend this apartment to everybody who needs a quiet place to stay just minute’s drive away from the hustle and bustle of the larger resorts of Los Cristianos and Playa de Los Americas. It’s well worth considering this property as your Tenerife pad any time of the year.

Fabulous break away

I have been to this appartment twice this year, its in a fantastic location for anyone who wishes to get plenty of rest and relaxation. Situated in a vary friendly and wlecoming area with beautiful balcony views of the sea where you can enjoy a mesmeric sunset on an evening. The local restaurants and Pearls pantry provide wonderful home cooked food and superb service. The appartment was very clean we absolutely loved it, very modern with plenty of room. We spent most of our time on the roof top by the pool enjoying the warmth of the all year round sunshine again very peaceful, ideal for people with families. I would definitely recommend this appartment to friends and family and very much hope that we can make another trip there ourselves in the near future.

Great Holiday!

We visited this apartment in late August 2009 as a family of four. It was easy to find thanks to the directions provided before departure.
On arrival we found the apartment was clean and well maintained with everything supplied to make your stay very comfortable, a real home from home.
The kitchen was well equipped with everything you could need to make a family meal or quick snack. Having a full size freezer was a rare treat on a holiday and saved us quite a bit of money as we could stock up on ice creams, lollies and oven chips for the kids. There is also a washing machine and iron provided which meant that we could pack light and wash things through overnight.
The lounge was large, bright and airy with two good sized, comfortable sofa beds. The kids made full use of the television and DVD player which was useful for a quiet hour before we went out in the evening. The patio doors meant that we could open up the room for a cool breeze. The information folder and range of leaflets was useful in helping us to plan our stay.
The bed in the master bedroom was extremely comfortable and I had the best nights sleep ever! The storage space was good with plenty of room for all our bits and bobs.
The bathroom was nice with the spa bath getting plenty of use during our stay. The fact that there was also a second toilet in the apartment meant that the kids didn’t disturb us during the night and no queue in the morning.
We had quite a few meals out on the balcony and also stored all our beach stuff out there. We sat out every night with a gin and tonic or two after the kids were asleep. It was very peaceful with no rowdy passers by, just the sound of the waves. The highlight of the week for us all was watching the dolphins swimming up and down the shoreline whilst eating our breakfast.
We also spent quite a lot of time around the rooftop pool. There was a good variety of sun beds and places to sit. We were the only people there for much of the time which was great for the kids as it was like having your own private pool!
There were plenty of bars and places to eat within walking distance which meant we didn’t have to drive out every night. We tried most of them but the Chinese proved to be a favourite with the kids.
There was a good variety of activities close by. The information folder was useful and helped us to plan our week.
We would recommend this apartment to couples and families looking for a quiet base close to all the main resorts. Very nice stay!
