Bloomfield house is a beautiful period house and our apartment is available for holiday or short term business lets. The apartment is situated in the village of Silkstone Common on the edge of beautiful countryside. Locally there is a pub; a lovely bakery where the produce is made on the premises and easy access to the Trans Peninne Trail for cycling, walking and horse riding. Silkstone Common railway station is just a short stroll away giving access to Barnsley, Sheffield and Huddersfield and the Meadowhall shopping complex. It is an easy drive out to the Peak District where there are plenty of walks and other outdoor pursuits. Bannatyne's Health Club is a 3 minute drive away
