Situated in the foothills of the Ebro Valley “Mountain View” enjoys stunning views across the valley to the mountains beyond. A haven of peace and tranquillity yet it is situated only 2.5 kilometres from Ebro's principle city - Tortosa. “Mountain View” is an excellent self-catering rental property with it's own pool. There is a double bedroom, shower room and kitchen/living room, all of good size.

Whatever your interests this area of real Spain has something for everyone. The city of Tortosa is rich in history. The castle of La Suda was built by the Moors and was fought over many times through the centuries. The Cathedral is regarded as one of the finest examples of Catalan Gothic architecture. The surrounding area is also rich in history with everything from Knights Templar castles to the fantastic Roman amphitheatre and Aqueduct at Tarragona. The cities of Barcelona and Valencia are only 2 hours away. The Ebro Delta is a paradise for birdwatchers but you don’t need to stray from our grounds to see Hoopoes and the occasional soaring eagle. The mountains of the Els Ports National Park, the second largest in Spain, are just across the valley. The Costa’s Dorada and Azuhar are within a 30-minute drive. Each Costa has its own identity but they both have quiet coves and long sandy bays. Or combine a visit to the beach with the Knights Templar castle and old town at Peniscola.

    2 Bookings are normally from 4:00 pm on day one to 10:00 am on final day.

    3 Pool available from May onwards

    4 Deposit of 1/3 rental on booking, balance 6 weeks before tenancy.

    5 We clean the properties at no extra charge as experience shows us that most of our guests are fair and reasonable in this respect.

    6 Number of guests must not exceed quoted capacity, unless by previous arrangement.

    7 Prices are for 2 persons sharing the property, per week, and include gas and electricity costs. Costs for extra adults/children on application.

    8 We stongly advise our visitors to take out holiday cancellation insurance.

In a wonderful setting, surrounded by Olive, Carob and Pine trees, "Mountain View" offers a cool and comfortable retreat from the heat of the Spanish sun. "Mountain View" is the private apartment attached to our home with direct access to our grounds. There is: A twin-bedded double bedroom, a shower room with toilet and wash hand basin a kitchen/living room of good size. The living room is well equipped with CD player, Radio, Satellite TV and DVD player. Guests can enjoy two terraces, one for those alfresco meals in the shade of Pine and Olive trees, and one for soaking up the sun by the pool. Both are equiped with necessary furniture.
