Location: Lacoste in France

Nearest Airport: Marseille or Nimes at 50 Miles
The local village Lacoste is a very picturesque medieval village perched on the Luberon ridge. It has a few local shops restaurants/cafes and is proximately 2.5 km from Villa St Aubin. It's a great location for touring and leisure as there are cycling, walking and horse riding paths across the beautiful Luberon hills. The winding roads of the Luberon, with spectacular views, are great to explore and you'll find loads of picturesque villages (Gordes, Menerbes, Maubec) on the doorstep and no doubt you'll want to stop and take some refreshments! There's so much to do and see in the area; St Remy-de-Provence, famous for its Roman architecture, Les Baux with its ruined castle and unique rock formations, L'Isle sur la Sorgue, famous as an antique centre and market. Also within easy reach are Pont du Gard, Avignon with the Palace of the Popes, Marseille with its famous waterfront, the Amphitheatre at Nimes and the cultured avenues of Aix-en-Provence.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Gas, electric, & water: are all included in the summer rental cost; however there is an additional charge for heating during the winter months.

    End-of-stay cleaning: is included in the rental cost, unless the property is left unacceptably dirty when an additional cleaning charge may be taken from your damage deposit.

    Bed & bathroom linen: is included in the rental cost.
    Taxe de Sejour: in France, it is necessary to pay a “Taxe de Séjour” at the end of your stay. It has been included here in the rental cost.

    Damage deposit: The owner requests a damage deposit of 1000 Euros on arrival and it’s possible to provide Credit Card Authorisation to cover this sum instead of cash or cheque. The deposit will be refunded to you at the end of your stay, less the replacement cost of any breakages or extra cleaning charges.

    Change over day: Normally Saturday but there is a degree of flexibility out of high season. Long weekend stays: Possible in the winter upon request.
