La Volvène is a restored farmhouse that creates a feeling of warmth and comfort. It is accessed by a long woodland drive and is set in over 20 acres of fields and woods, thereby offering seclusion and tranquillity and a chance to enjoy the local wildlife. The rescued friendly ponies and donkeys graze in the fields beyond the acre of level gardens. Montaigu de Quercy is 5km. Nearest main towns: Agen & Villeneuve-sur-Lot - 25 minutes.

Normally the area has a moderate climate with long Spring and Autumn seasons and Summers that can be very hot! Essentially it is the heart of farming land and you can expect to see lush landscapes with spectacular fields of sunflowers, maize and tobacco and all through the year a wonderful variety of changing colours and hues.

The well-equipped kitchen has a gas cooker and electric oven, fridges, microwave and inglenook fireplace with wood burning stove. Satellite and French tv with video and DVD. Shower-room with wc. and basin. Separate lounge with access to the gardens. Hallway to lower ground floor that has a double bedroom, a third fridge, and a freezer. First Floor: Double bedroom with en-suite bathroom. Bath with shower attachment, wc and basin. Two triple bedded rooms. Shower-room with wc, bidet and basin.
