Contensou is situated close to the Aveyron Gorge in over forty acres of woods, grounds and barns. The houses have been tastefully renovated and include full central heating, double glazing and a terraced swimming pool. They offer privacy and seclusion with lots of woodland walks and the chance to study local fauna and flora. The Dolmens of St Antonin make a fascinating visit and the wonderful hilltop village of Cordes is a must. For the active there are many water sports including canoeing in the fabulous Aveyron Gorge. Nearest main towns: St. Antonin-Noble-Val & Septfonds - 5 minutes.

Generally quieter than most regions, the departments covered are Lot-et-Garonne, Tarn-et-Garonne, Lot & Dordogne. there is something is here to suit all the family, including: fishing, tennis, walking, golf, cycling, horse-riding, lake swimming, windsurfing, canoeing, and much, much, more. Normally the area has a moderate climate with long Spring and Autumn seasons and Summers that can be very hot! Essentially it is the heart of farming land and you can expect to see lush landscapes with spectacular fields of sunflowers, maize and tobacco and all through the year a wonderful variety of changing colours and hues.

Accommodation: Lavande. Attractive sitting and dining room with stone walls, oak beams and open fireplace. The kitchen is divided from the main room by a work and storage unit with fridge and cooker. The steep staircase from the sitting rooms leads to a mezzanine double bedroom that has a low ceiling. The ground floor second double bedroom has a double and a single bed. Shower-room with wc and basin.
