The Boathouse is located entirely over the water on its own seabed title. Iits two large apartments (142m2 interior and large balconies) are luxuriously furnished and fully equipped. Each apartment has superb sea views Each apartment is fully self-contained with a large open plan living area, very spacious kitchen with all modern appliances, separate laundry with washer/dryer and soaking tub. The apartments are air- conditioned with underfloor heating in bathroom; facilities include phone/fax and free wireless broadband. Furnished balcony with barbecue. General store and bakery within 20 metres. The Boathouse is a unqiue holiday destination, entirely over the water in Opua, the marine centre of the Bay of Islands. Adjacent to the Opua Beach, near the very modern Opua marina, The Boathouse offers accommodation next to none.

Our neighbours: We are located adjacent to the beaach, and just 20 metres from the general store with bakery offering fresh bread, croissants, etc. every morning and 100 metres from the modern Opua Marina and within short walking distance to the Marina Cafe.

Our locality: The Boathouse is situated entirely over the water at Opua, the marine centre of the Bay of Islands boasting a modern 250 berth marina capable of berthing vessels up to 50 metres in length. It is just five kilometres from Paihia, the bustling tourist centre and historic Waitangi with is beautiful golf course offering magnificent views of the Bay of Islands.
