Situated in a panoramic position in the heart of the Garfagnana, 1 hr 15 mins north of Lucca, Rustico Chiozza is a newly renovated house with its own pool. The house which is on 3 storeys, has been sympathetically restored with some beamed ceilings, exposed internal stonework and traditional flooring.

Location: Barga in Italy

Situated a 15 minute drive from the market town of Castelnuovo di Garfagnana in the province of Lucca, and in a panoramic location is Rustico Chiozza. The closest village is that of Chiozza which is a 5 min drive away and has a shop, bar and restaurant. Just over 3.5km away is the busy village of Pieve Fosciana with all facilities except railway station which is at Castelnuovo. There are a couple of very good restaurants at Pieve Fosciana and plenty in Castelnuovo. Up in the hills and only a 15 minute drive from the mountain peak village of San Pelligrino, this is a perfect place for those looking for a very peaceful holiday with lots of walking opporunities. Lucca is around a 1 hr 15 min drive away, Pisa 90 mins and Florence 1 hr 45 mins.

On the ground floor there is a small living room with SAT TV, DVD, and CD and a utility room with washing machine. On the first floor there is a large kitchen/diner with great views, open fireplace, eating space for 6. Kitchen is fully equipped with oven, 5 ring hob, dishwasher, microwave, fridge/freezer, along with a twin bedroom and shower room. The kitchen area leads out to an eating terrace. Up wooden original staircase (not ideal for toddlers/small children) on the second floor there are two double bedrooms with wonderful views and beamed ceilings. Outside there is a large open space/garden, with panoramic views over the mountains and a private pool of 9M x 4M. BBQ.
