Domaine de Montauzet is a beautiful, charming 5 bedrooms 17th century stone house surrounded by fields with magnificent views of the valley. The Domaine is located in the Albret country, home of Henry IV part of the beautiful region of Gascony, land of the famous d’Artagnan and also the home of the hero of the play Cyrano de Bergerac. The Albret country is a destination full of charms with its rolling hills and wild woodlands, rich in history with its medieval treasures and stone buildings. The South West of France is also a road to indulgence with a rich gastronomy (Foie Gras, Duck Confit and many others), fine wine (Buzet and Duras) and Armagnac. This region also produces the famous pruneaux d’Agen (dried prunes).

Sightseeing: There is a lot to see in this area, different chateaux, medieval treasures to visit and wine and Armagnac producers. We will be delighted to give you more information. The gîte is a charming and spacious 5 bedrooms self catering holiday home for 10 to 12 people of impeccable quality covering 260m² set in 1.5 hectares of land. It is situated outside of the village Le Saumont. Kitchen: New fitted kitchen with dishwasher, microwave, induction oven, vitro-ceramic hob, American fridge/freezer. Dining room: Big oak table for 10 (but can sit 12). Sitting room: Sofas, flat screen TV (with English channels), DVD player (with a DVD library), CD player. Entrance: Loo, area for washing machine, iron, ironing board and vacuum cleaner. 5 bedrooms: 4 bedrooms with king size bed with en suite bathrooms. 1 bedroom with 3 single beds with en suite bathroom. Cots, extra beds, pushchair and highchair are available on request. Swimming pool: 10x5m with garden chairs and chaises longs. Covered area with ping-pong table and other outdoor games. Outside eating area: Covered area with a big table can sit 16 or more.

BBQ and a Plancha (Spanish style BBQ) All linen and towels are included.
