Churchlands Farm for a great stay

Review Submitted: August 30, 2011 Date of Stay: August 2011
We had a fantastic week at Churchlands farm, Paula and Kevin made us feel very welcome and were great hosts. It was the little touches they provided from the welcome wine and bits on arrival to the huge selection of dvd's that we could watch in the evening. We all loved the hot tub, very relaxing after a day out in the surrounding countryside or beach. Kevin let us ride the beautiful horses he owns and is not only a great horseman but a fantastic riding instructor who raised my daughters and my own confidence with the horses so that I was able to jump by the end of the week!
The location is very peaceful, yet close to beaches and areas such as the Cheddar Gorge. We'd love to visit again and have recommended you to our friends.

Get Away From It All

Review Submitted: July 27, 2011 Date of Stay: July 2011
Churchland Farm Cottage is a dream location for families looking to get away from the rigours of urban life. The cottage is annexed onto the main house. It contains a living room, kitchen, 2 bedrooms and an upstairs bathroom. You will also find TV (freeview), selection of DVD’s, free wifi, horses, dogs, trampoline and a hot tub to die for. Paula and Kev are the perfect hosts, from the moment you arrive they make you feel totally welcome. Kev even took our eldest boy canoeing up the river located at the back of the farm.

If you want a guide to a holiday location, ask your children, all I can say is mine are pestering me already to return later in the year. You won’t go wrong with Churchland Farm Cottage.

Review Submitted: June 13, 2011 Date of Stay: May 2011
what can i say, lovely place and lovely people, on our arrival kevin rue and max welcomed us, we were shown round and made to feel at home straight away, the annexe is clean and comfortable and has everything you need and more, the bread, butter milk and wine where an added bonus we weren't expecting and was greatly appericated. Kevin and Paula were fantastic host's, nothing was too much trouble, giving us great information on the area and places to visit and that's what's great about Churchlands Farm it's so central to everywhere Glastonbury, Weston super mare, Well's, Cheddar are all less than an hours drive away. The highlight to my daughters holiday was getting to ride Zara one of the horse's at Churchlands with Kevin's training she did so much in just a few days, and the hottub was lovely to relax in after a hard day's sightseeing. We all agree it is one of the best holidays we've had and we hope to visit again very soon and would definatly recommend it .

The perfect spot for a homely and relaxing break.

Review Submitted: September 19, 2010 Date of Stay: June 2010
We spent 3 wonderful nights at the farmhouse in June, the property was clean and very well equipped, including a complimentary welcome pack. Kevin and Paula were fantastic hosts, nothing was too much trouble. Kevin gave us all a riding lesson and provided free use of his Kayaks on the river at the rear of property. The hot tub was fantastic and the perfect way to end a summer evening. Special mention has to go to Monty, Roo and Max the resident dogs. Monty followed us everywhere and the children wanted to bring him home. The location is also perfect for visiting places such as Cheddar, Glastonbury, Wells and not far from the beach at Brean or Burnham. All in all we had a very enjoyable and relaxing few days and the rental was very good value for money. Hopefully we will visit again.
