Well maintained, tastefully decorated two-bedroom apartment with beautiful views of the historical town centre of Tavira. There are several beaches and golf courses within a few minutes drive. The town centre of Tavira is within walking distance and only a few minutes away. It is very easy to lose track of time in this lovely old town. You can spend hours strolling the charming cobblestone streets with its many restaurants, shops, bars and terraces to enjoy refreshment in the sun. Ilha de Tavira, its famous beach with many small restaurants is only a boat ride away. This is a very nice destination all year round.

Tavira is one of the most unspoilt towns in the Algarve with the Rio Gilao running through its centre and spanned by a 7 arch Roman bridge. This lovely town retains it historic medieval past with the castle standing watch over some 30 churches. The winding cobble streets are full of small shops and riverside cafes and a daily market offers fresh fish from the local fishermen caught that morning, local fruit and vegetable. There is a varied choice of good restaurants at very reasonable prices. During the season the outdoor 'amphitheatre' provides evening music and entertainment. The Algarve boasts long white sandy beaches with the coveted Blue Flag. The Ria Formosa Natural Reserve Park, which is a World Heritage site, has many rare special of birds enjoying the benefits of a larger system of tidal lagoons.

Situated on the first floor this comfortable apartment is a real home away from home. Ideal for winter or summer lets. The accommodation consists of a living room with dining area and sliding doors to a balcony where you can enjoy the beautiful view of Tavira, a spacious fully equipped kitchen (washing machine, dryer, electric oven, hob, microwave oven, fridge freezer, toaster and kettle) with breakfast area and store room, two double bedrooms (one twin bedroom) with built in wardrobes (one bedroom with seating area and south facing balcony) sharing a bathroom with bath and shower. The apartment is located in a nice residential area, close to the castle in the centre of Tavira with the train and bus station and all other amenities within walking distance. CCTV. Air conditioning provides heating in winter and cooling in summer. Garage for off street parking, however a car is not required
