Anstruther or Anster is the largest and busiest of the 'East Neuk' coastal towns. It was, until 50 years ago, a busy fishing village, but the demise of the North Sea herring shoals around this time saw fishing disappear. The history of fishing, from the earliest times to the present day, can be remembered by a visit to the Scottish Fisheries Museum. Anstruther is now a bustling town with a variety of shops, pubs and excellent restaurants, mainly specialising in seafood. Anstruther is an ideal stepping off point for sea angling trips, or visiting the Isle of May Nature Reserve on the 'May Princess'.

This luxury ground floor apartment is situated in the picturesque coastal town of Anstruther, just yards from the harbour and close to clean beaches. Both family friendly and award winning restaurants are on the doorstep and there’s plenty for all ages to do, rain or shine. The flat is an ideal base from which to explore the East Neuk of Fife, including St Andrews, only a 20 minute drive away. Comfortable and modern, the apartment sleeps up to six people and is ideal for couples, golfers or family holidays. The accommodation comprises: Hall - with cupboard space for storage of golf clubs etc. Living Room - a spacious and bright room with two sofas (one which doubles up as a sofabed) tv., video and hi-fi. Oak dining table for up to six people. Games, videos and books provided along with welcome tray for guests. Glazed french doors lead into the kitchen.

Kitchen - well equipped kitchen, complete with microwave, dishwasher, fridge, gas hob and electric oven, washing machine and small table. Master Bedroom - A spacious double bedroom with king sized bed, fitted wardrobes . Twin Bedroom - Twin room with two full sized single beds, fitted wardrobes. Bathroom- with Mira shower, shaving point, full sized bath, wh basin and wc.
