Graded 4-star by Visit Britain, it is centrally heated throughout and offers an elegant master bedroom with king-sized bed, a country-style twin room, a cheerful shower room, a generously equipped dining kitchen and a luxurious lounge with games table. There is off road parking for two cars, a large, private lawn plus patio with summer furniture and barbecue for al fresco dining.
Quality bed linen, central heating, hot water and electricity are included. Luxury white bath sheets and towels are available at a small charge. The Coach House has very special, personal touches, such as houseplants, rotary clothes drier and waste arrangements for recycling. The popular Bull's Head Village inn is only 150 yards away on the village green and next door is The Old Smithy cafe, both serving meals seven days a week.
There are seven country inns within a three mile radius, all serving home-cooked food and giving you a choice of styles. Monyash has a superb children's playground.
Monyash is a gem of a village close to Bakewell and lies between Dove Dale to the west and all other famous dales to the east. Despite its great location, its spacious roads and greens mean your comfort is never compromised by other visitors even in the height of Summer and your garden cannot be seen from the road. There is a lock-up barn if you need to store bikes, fishing rods, golf clubs, etc.
It is ideally placed for all the attractions in the Peak District, with dales to the east and west, caves to the north and stately homes and theme parks all around. The famous Alton Towers theme park, the largest in the UK, is a
50 minute drive away, but smaller attractions are numerous, such as the UK's only tramway working tramway museum, The Heights of Abraham, a carriage museum, a toy museum, aquarium, and more.
