This recently refurbished apartment is located on the second floor in an exclusive small gated complex set  in beautiful  tropical gardens with a choice of two swimming pools and overlooking Pinhal golf course. The accomodation comprises 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, lounge, balcony and new fully fitted kitchen with granite worktops. The complex is maintained to a high standard and is suitable for both families and couples. The  large swimming pools each have separate shallow (0.5m) sections.

The complex is situated in the Old Village, an exclusive area of Vilamoura which has its own restaurants, bars and supermarket within a 3 minutes walk. There is also a tourist train which runs regularly to the marina and local beaches and stops directly outside the complex.

Vilamoura is one of Europe's largest resorts and is situated between Faro and Albufeira. Its stunning marina has an exciting waterfront with a wide range of restaurants, shops and cafes. There are five golf courses, indoor and outdoor sport facilities, riding, big game fishing and major events. It has   a south -facing coast with sandy beaches, rocky cliffs and hidden grottoes. Vilamoura's nightlife includes an exciting casino with  slot machines and bingo, gambling room for black jack and roulette and nightly dinner shows.  Vilamoura has an environmental park next to the marina which feature acres of wetlands suitable for walking , cycling and observing wildlife. It is an ideal centre from which to explore Monchique and Caldeirao mountains , famous for cork oak forests.Vilamoura is ideally situated for exploring the region's  interesting past. Near the marina itself is Cerro da Vila, a Roman bath complex with mosaics.

The complex is situated  beside the picturesque Old village which is pedestrianised  and is  2 minutes walk to restaurants, bars, cafes and supermarket. The marina and beach are approximately 10 minutes walk  or alternatively a tourist train runs at regular intervals from outside the complex.Vilamoura has excellent leisure facilities, beautiful beaches and  an exciting marina with a vast array of sporting activities to suit everyone.  There are five centrally located golf courses with several others only a short drive away.Local markets are plentiful and offer a wide range of merchandise at inexpensive prices and of course locally caught fish.

We had a great time at this excellent apartment. The owners instructions and customer service were very professional and friendly. The apartment is spacious,well equipped and clean.
the balcony provides an excellent view of golfcourse fairways and a beautiful pool set in manicured gardens. The local area is upmarket including the lovely Old village apartments with several good restaurants and well stocked supermarket.Access to the beautiful Vilamoura marina is via a 20 min pleasant stroll a 3min taxi run or a road going tourist train. I highly recommend this apartment and hope to return.

Perfect two weeks

Thoroughly enjoyed our two weeks at this lovely, large apartment. Lots of space for us four adults. We found the apartment very clean, well maintained with excellent facilities. Balcony has good view over well kept grounds and pool area.
The Old Village has many places for eating and drinking. There is also a small well stocked shop where we found fresh produce, some good local wine and the assistants very helpful.
Larger supermarkets are nearer to the marina area which is within pleasant walking distance. We enjoyed taking the road train which stops outside the apartments daily. Taxis are very reasonably priced as are the buses.
We enjoyed a bite and a drink at the Belverdere which has nice food and a good balcony view overlooking the marina.
Quarteria is worth a visit. We took a stroll there along the sea front and enjoyed the huge Wednesday market.
For a special food treat we took a bus ride into Almancil to experience a mid-day meal at The Lemon Tree which was recommended. We were not disappointed.
A thoroughly relaxing holiday which we hope to repeat and can recommend.
