Nearest Airport: Exeter at 60 Miles
Nearest Barpub: Three in the village at 5 Minutes
Nearest Ski: The Alps! at 1000 Miles
Nearest Golf: Saunton at 3 Miles
Nearest Restaurant: Choice in the village at 5 Minutes
There's a great sandy beach right here in Croyde and others nearby. Surf hire and lessons, Horse-riding and the Cascades leisure pool are all available here in the village. Passing through Croyde is the South West Coast Path for wonderful walks. There's also sea fishing off the rocks and Golf just a few minutes away at the famous links course at Saunton. Also at Saunton there's wind- and kite-surfing. Further afield there are dozens of activities and places to visit all over North Devon and beyond. Exmoor, Dartmoor, the Eden Project, and the National Marine Aquarium, for example, are all within day-out distance. We always keep plenty of leaflets at Santolina so you'll have plenty of ideas where to go. If you've any particular interests, just let us know in advance and we'll raid the Tourist Information Centre for you.

  • Our usual changeover day is Saturday.

    Short breaks are available out of main season and when we have availability at short notice. Minimum stay is 3 nights.

    Bed linen and/or towels are available if required for a nominal charge. Cot and/or high chair are also available.

    Please note; to be fair to all guests, electricity is paid for by £1 coin meter (except night storage heaters).

    Our 'cool months' rates (Oct-Apri) include night storage heating. We wouldn't expect them to be needed during the summer, but they're available if required at a rate of £20pw to cover running costs.
