Back to nature in this peaceful property with an average of four cars per day passing the house! Les Colombages is a newly renovated 18th century Bressan farmhouse with comfort, space and light. There is a well and trough in the front of the 4000 m² garden, flowers, plum & cherry trees and a beautiful view over the neighbouring fields and woods. There is also a small pond in the garden which would make the property unsuitable for small children. Swimming pool of 10 x 5m with safety alarm. To help you explore the countryside at a leisurely pace we provide 4 bikes for adults (possibly some for children depending on ages).

The farmhouse is 32 metres long with a car bay for two cars at the side. Accommodation comprises : entrance hall, one double bedroom with 140 cm double bed and en suite bathroom with shower, double twin bed room with its own shower room giving onto the corridor. The corridor leads into the double living room, one end lounge with original bressan fireplace, the other end is the dining area. The fully equipped kitchen leads off the living room. The kitchen has dishwasher, electric oven, electric hob, extractor fan, microwave oven, coffee machine, toaster, washing machine, fridge with small freezer compartment and eating space for four people. The master bedroom at the far end of the house has a double bed of 160 cm, its own bathroom with wc, washbasin and bath/shower plus its own private door leading onto the back terrace. The beauty of this house is its three bedrooms and three bathrooms!

Les Colombages is a truly stunning place. It has everything and more you could wish for to make your perfect holiday. The house is on a very large plot surrounded by fields and wildlife - so peaceful . The swimming pool was excellent - its was hard to drag the children away to explore the local area ! The house itself is lovely and very spacious , clean and well maintained . The kitchen is well fitted and has everything you need for a home from home stay. Sandie and her family were excellent before,during and after our stay, and we will definitely look to return in the future.

Everything about this house was just perfect. The house itself is spacious and gorgeous; the owners did a fantastic job renovating it while still preserving its unique farmhouse character with its beautiful beams. The master bedroom is especially large with its own bathroom and door to the back yard. The pool was a really great thing to have in July (though it is not heated, so keep that in mind in colder temps), and the location good for us city-dwellers looking for a complete change of pace. It is somewhat off-the-beaten track but still close enough to tourist attractions like Beaune and other wine areas of Burgundy as well as various open-air markets. Two other things to keep in mind are that one bathroom is right in one of the bedrooms, with only a half wall dividing, and the grill uses wood (not gas or charcoal), which can be tricky to manage if you're not accustomed to it. The kitchen is nicely laid out, well supplied with cooking materials, and I appreciated having the dishwasher as well as the clothes washer and places to air dry our clothing. The owner was very accessible and helpful throughout, from pre-booking up to during our stay, replenishing missing supplies and explaining how to work the TV and electricity after a storm blew it out. My only real quibble is there were a lot of flies--but I think that comes with the territory for any country house in France! I would highly, highly recommend this house to my friends and family.
