The entire ground floor of the cottage is open plan. One vast and spacious room offers a delightful traditional but modern dining kitchen at one end, with cosy fireside and lounge area at the other. Floors are in Welsh slate. The well equipped kitchen comprises electric hob and oven, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. There is a washer/dryer and freezer in the outside Granary. A large antique dining table which seats up to 8 separates the dining and sitting room areas.
The sitting room is furnished with a leather suite, including an additional double sofa. Satellite TV, video, DVD player and music centre. Electric Woodburner-style stove with a deep pile rug at the fireside provides a cosy intimate sitting room. The stairs are open plan to a bright airy landing with velux window and easy chair.
Upstairs, which is light and airy has two bedrooms and the bathroom. The tiled and beamed bathroom consists of white suite with over-bath shower, WC and hand basin.
The master bedroom has a King size bed, with additional single futon. 2 windows give lots of light and fabulous views across the valley. The second bedroom has a double bed with additional single futon. Tiny additional slit windows give a great look-out onto the approach road. Wardrobes, dressing tables and bedside furniture are tasteful and fully matching in pale wood to reflect the unfussy and calm atmoshere of this quite exceptional cottage.
Outside, a lawned area and patio area offer perfect surroundings for barbecues and al fresco meals. There are badgers, foxes and wild birds galore, in particular recently the Red Kite has made his home nearby.
