Conwy, gateway to Snowdonia, is one of the finest examples of a medieval walled town in Europe and is dominated by its 13th Century castle. Events include the Conwy River Festival in August, Blue Grass Music Festival in July and Conwy Feast, a food lovers paradise, in October. From the marina, Conwy is a pleasant 15 minute walk along the Marina Walk or a 2 minute car journey where you will find numerous shops, banks, pubs and award winning restaurants. Anglesey, designated an area of outstanding natural beauty, is a 20 minute drive and the Roman City of Chester a 30 minute drive. Holyhead with a fast ferry (90 minutes) to Dublin is 40 minutes drive.
How to get here; Air: Liverpool 45 minutes or Manchester 60 minutes. There are excellent bus and train services throughout the North Wales coastal area and the Conwy Valley, with access also to the Snowdonia mountain ranges.
