Obviously the main attraction is Conwy itself with it's medieval castle, fishing quay and over 200 listed building nestled in it's walls. Plas Mawr medieval house is well worth a visit, full of interesting things to see with a free audio tour, it can happily tie up a large portion of a rainy day. Telfords suspension bridge, Britains smallest house, Conwy visitor centre and loads of small shops and interesting things to see and read. Not to mention walking the ancient town walls themselves, open day and night free of charge, they are 100 yards away overlooking the house.
Nearby are golf, sailing, horse riding, mountain walking and running, mountain biking, cinema, dry ski slope and local tourist attractions, the trams and cable cars in Llandudno, fantastic traditional and contemporary pubs and restaurants. The picturesque village of Betws Y Coed is only a 25 minute drive away and the isle of Anglesey approx 20 minutes.
