Luxury beachfront chalet sleeps 2-4.

Detached very private stonebuild chalet style accommodation, situated in an exclusive part of Llandudno. Located within the expansive grounds of a detached beachfront house, this holiday property allows direct access to the quiet beach. The high tide is literally feet away and low tide reveals sand, rock pools and wading sea birds; along with unsurpassed views of the Snowdonia mountain range and Conwy Estuary. Fine days bring beautiful sunsets. This is a simply perfect place for couples to relax.

The enormous garden is shared with the owners who live on site, however such is the layout and size, that privacy is guaranteed.

The accommodation includes a fully fitted kitchen, shower room and toilet, dining room and bedroom, all recently fitted with brandnew furniture and equipment.

Free Wireless Internet access is included.

Outside a private seating area which is ideal for barbeques, stunning sea views, mountains and the Isle of Anglesey.

Secure private drive and parking.

Being a Victorian seaside resort, Llandudno has something for everyone, being one of the most popular seaside destinations for over a hundred years. The town has developed to offer many more things. The Great Orme itself sits directly behind the property with it's cable car, tramway, copper mine and world famous wild Kashmir goats. Not to mention miles of walks with outstanding views.

Nearby are two golf clubs, sailing, horse riding, mountain walking and running, mountain biking, cinema, dry ski slope and local tourist attractions, the trams and cable cars in Llandudno, fantastic traditional and contemporary pubs and restaurants. The picturesque village of Betws Y Coed is only a 25 minute drive away and the Isle of Anglesey approx 20 minutes.

Llandudno is also only a 10 minute drive from the medievel walled town of Conwy; with it's castle, fishing quay, and many visitor attractions. It's also the gateway to the Snowdonia National Park.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Short breaks are accepted throughout the year, however a surcharge of 25% is applied to parties where there are more than 2 people. If booking more than one full week we give a discount. Reservations can be made by telephone or email. A non-refundable deposit of £100 for a week, and £50 for a short break is required within 7 days of booking along with agreed Terms & Conditions.
    A refundable breakage deposit of £100 is required at he start of the week, to be returned after inspection on departure. Cheque or cash.

    Booking weeks are Saturday to Saturday unless otherwise agreed.
    Payment by cheque or electronic transfer.

    Directions to the apartment and key arrangements will be agreed in week before arrival.

    Check in 4pm, vacate by 10.30am (flexible on these arrangements dependent on circumstances).

    Any special requests feel free to ask owner.

Notes: The garden is shared with the owners, however privacy is assured due to the location of the accommodation, layout and size of the garden. Access to the beach is directly at the bottom of the garden via a concrete ramp. Access onto the beach for the infirm or wheelchairs is possible, however tides affect the height of the beach at the bottom of the ramp which is also quite steep. There is a viewing pier overlooking the beach which would be perfect for wheelchair users. The beach is open to the public via West Shore, however very few venture to this location. Use of the beach and accessing it is at your own risk.

Inside there is one double bedroom plus a double sofa bed in the dining area, allowing 2-4 to sleep comfortably. Small but well appointed kitchen with microwave, toaster, fridge. Washing machine just outside the chalet in an outbuilding.

Lounge/dining room includes TV/stereo, sofabed, 4 seater dining table. The bathroom comprises a shower, basin and WC. Towels and bed linen are included.

Please note the chalet is strictly non-smoking inside.

Mountain guiding: If you enjoy walking, or have that that urge to conquer Snowdon, Wales' highest mountain, but don't quite have the experience to go it alone, we can also offer guided mountain walks.

Walk the famous Carneddau or Glyder ranges with full days out.

Routes tailored to suit all ages and abilities.

With an extensive knowledge and 19 years mountain experience of the nearby Snowdonia National Park we can guide you to the summits.

£40 per person, max party of 6 persons, minimum £100 per day. Contact owner for details.

Peaceful beachfront gem

The chalet is in the grounds of the owners' house, but is very private, with a secluded suntrap courtyard, and a stunning view over the sea and along the coast towards Anglesey. It was great to be able to walk directly out from the garden onto the beautiful almost-deserted beach. The location is very peaceful, away from the bustle of central Llandudno, but within an easy 5 minutes drive of the shops and restaurants, and the tram up the Great Orme. My teenage son had a brilliant time snowboarding and tobogganing at the Ski Centre.

The chalet is fairly small (ideal for a couple, although my son was comfortable on the sofabed in the living area), but was spotlessly clean and equipped to a very high standard throughout. The owners were very friendly and helpful. We'll definitely be back!

A Great Time At The Chalet

Why stay at a B&B when you can stay at this wonderful Chalet. Located on the West Shore on Marine Drive at the foot of Great Ormes Head, the views of the bay and the beach are spectacular. This Chalet is perfect for 2 people looking to get away for a nice holiday. Everything inside the Chalet is up to date and modern. The owners, Craig and Louise, are a short text message away should you need anything. The center of Llandudno with all it's shops and restaurants is about a 15 minute walk or less than a 5 minute drive. We look forward to returning there again.

Perfection

'Summer Place' was everything it promised & more. We were lucky to have good weather in late October & enjoyed stunning views every morning and when the sun set. Louise & Craig have created a peaceful haven with everything you need for a perfect chill out. The property is spotless and their style is tasteful , with lots of little extras to make your stay comfortable. Louise & Craig and the dogs did everything & more to ensure our stay was as perfect as could be I have recommended Summer Place to so many people since returning that I hope it is available when we want to return - which we will.

Chalet Plas Haf

We were happily surprised when we first saw the Chalet. The views are exceptional, you can walk right down to and on the beach from the chalet. The chalet itself was complete with everything you needed, it was clean and spotless, we stayed two weeks and fresh linen was supplied halfway!
Because of its location, it was a haven to go to after a busy day. It was a pleasure to meet the owners Craig and Louise. Their dogs Spook and Fly were fun to meet and welcomed us most days when we returned or in the morning before we left, very friendly but gentle dogs.
We hope very much to return.
