A compact attractive cottage, situated within the historic castle walls of Conwy. This property is ideal for exploring Conwy itself with all the local attractions being with a short stroll, plus a short drive to loads of other attractions in the surrounding area. The snowdonia national park boundary is a few miles away and the mountains start within yards of leaving the walls.

Nearest Airport: Liverpool at 60 Miles
Nearest Ferry: Holyhead at 40 Miles
Obviously the main attraction is Conwy itself with it's medieval castle, fishing quay and over 200 listed building nestled in it's walls. Plas Mawr medieval house is well worth a visit, full of interesting things to see with a free audio tour, it can happily tie up a large portion of a rainy day. Telfords suspension bridge, Britains smallest house, Conwy visitor centre and loads of small shops and interesting things to see and read. Not to mention walking the ancient town walls themselves, open day and night free of charge, they are 100 yards away overlooking the house. Nearby are golf, sailing, horse riding, mountain walking and running, mountain biking, cinema, dry ski slope and local tourist attractions, the trams and cable cars in Llandudno, fantastic traditional and contemporary pubs and restaurants. The picturesque village of Betws Y Coed is only a 25 minute drive away and the isle of Anglesey approx 20 minutes.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Short breaks are accepted throughout the year. 10% discount for extra weeks. Reservations can be made by telephone or email. A non-refundable deposit of £100 for a week and £50 for short break or low season is required within 7 days of booking along with agreed Terms & Conditions. Final account to be settled within 6 weeks of arrival.

    Booking weeks are Saturday to Saturday unless otherwise agreed.
    Payment by cheque or electronic transfer.

    Directions to the apartment and key arrangements will be agreed in week before arrival.

    Check in 4pm, vacate by 10.30am (flexible on these arrangements dependant on circumstances).

    DOGS
    A small dog is welcome to stay downstairs, but guests must clean up hairs etc, at the end of their stay. A returnable deposit will be required to cover any possible cleaning required.

    Any special requests feel free to ask owner.

The cottage was probably originally a fishermans residence. It has been extended to include a kitchen, where the yard was before, with a private outside sitting area placed above it. Inside there are two double bedrooms plus a double attic room with sofa bed, allowing 4-6 to sleep comfortably. Small but well appointed kitchen with washing machine, microwave, toaster, fridge. (UPDATE - HOUSE IS SOON TO BE LET LONG TERM AND THERE IS CURRENTLY ONLY ONE BED AND A SOFA BED, SLEEPING 4 MAX). Lounge/dining room includes TV/stereo, twin 2 seater leather sofas, 4 seater dining table. The bathroom comprises a shower into a bath, basin and WC. Towels and bed linen are included, however discount can be given for those wishing to bring their own.
