The town centre offering a wide choice of shops, pubs, restaurants, Sea Life Aquarium and small working fishing harbour is about half a mile away. There are numerous family amenities close by including a boating lake, cliff walks, surf school, golf, fishing, horse riding and ten-pin bowling. The property is also on a local bus route that connects with the railway station.
