What a fabulous weekend we had at Overbells to celebrate my 50th birthday. A group of 8 adults, all agreed it was a great party house with a great sound system (complete with karaoke if you wanted).
I would echo all the comment made by previous reviewers and would definitely recommend Overbells. Donald is a great host, helpful and really easy to deal with.
One of the best bits for me was the Pampering treats for the ladies in our group at House of Beauty, which is run by Donald's partner, Melanie. We booked a party package and we all picked two treatments each. Melanie arranged for us to use their luxury relaxation lounge and even supplied crystal flutes for our champagne! It was a lovely afternoon and Melanie and her staff were great - nothing was too much trouble!
Then it was back to the house, where the men were enjoying the lounging facilities, for a jacuzzi bath and cocktails! It was a great chilling out experience and the weather allowed us to take full advantage of the extensive gardens. Although we didn't have children with us, Donald has gone to a lot of effort to make sure there are plenty toys (indoor and outdoor) to keep the kids happy. I wish we had known about Overbells when our kids were younger.
I would definitely recommend Overbells and if you want some pampering check out House of Beauty too.
A great holiday experience for young and old.
