Castels holiday cottage

The cottage layout: Set on two levels the house comprises on garden level : a 30m² bedroom with a king size bed, wardrobe, sofa, and a sink. Note that bed linen and towels are provided and that bed will be made up upon your arrival. It leads on 2 very pleasant covered terraces both equiped with table and chairs to relax outside. From the bedroom, stairs goes down to the large sitting room (30m²) equipped with sofas, TV and table and chairs. It largely leads onto the private back terrace also equiped with table and chairs to dine outside. The kitchen also leads onto the back terrace, very well equiped it has a cooker, oven, micro waves, dishwasher. Adjacent is the shower room with a shower unit and sink. Next is the laundry room with a washing machine and storage area. There is sep toilets on that floor.

The pool: The huge 14mx8m pool is set at the other side of the gardens. It enjoys sun from the morning till late afternoon. The pool is to be shared with the owners whose holidays home is set on the same plot of land.

At a glance : The good shops and restaurants of the picturesque village of St Cyprien are at walking distance from the house. There is a very attractive colored market on the sundays morning, with local fruits, vegetables producers and delicatessen. The mediæval town of Saint Cyprien, and the beauty of its age-old rooftops as they blend around the 'église abbatiale', or abbey church. The geographical location, on the sloping hillside above the beaches of the river Dordogne, make St Cyprien a crossroads for numerous outstanding sites within a 30-km radius.

Other Activities: Canoeing, visiting villages, caves, castels, brocantes, markets ; enjoying good food and good wine... and just relax!!
