Detached house. Sleeps 10. Just a five minute drive to Newquay town centre and beaches. Generous four bedroom detached family house comprising of a modern well equipped kitchen with everything that you would need. This large detached holiday home is a modern house, sleeping up to 9 / 10 guests. It is situated in a cul de sac in the quiet and secluded village of St Columb Minor and yet only five minutes drive minutes away from Newquay town centre and its famous beaches and golden sands. Our closest beach, “Porth” is only 15 minutes walk from St Columb Minor. The village itself hosts a traditional village public house, church, grocery stores and country walks. Fernwood will cater for families or large groups, and is the perfect property for two families to share. Pets are welcome by arrangement.

As you walk down the steps you will find the small bistro with a balcony 20 feet above the beach. Have a beer and watch the sun set or enjoy a al fresco dinner to the sound of the crashing surf. Five minutes drive will take you to Newquay town centre, with its regional shopping facilities, bars, restaurants and takeaways.

Relax on one of the fantastic beaches, where you can learn to surf, try shark fishing, take a hair raising ride on a jet boats – or just relax on the family beaches patrolled throughout the summer by RNLI lifegaurds. You are within a 15 minute walk to the spectacular surfing beach of Porth with its golden sands and spectacular cliff walk. . For the more adventurous walker there is easy access to the coast paths which will lead you through Newquay to the beautiful village of Crantock with its several good public houses including the Bowgie Inn and cafes. If a lively night out is desired Newquay town centre has many bars and clubs to enjoy which are within easy walking distance.
