We are pleased to offer super apartments/villas on the highly sought-after El Capistrano Village. Ranging from one bed units (Casa Jardin/Casa Verano) which are ideal for 2 people, The Penthouse which has two bedrooms - sleeps up to 4 people, Casa Limoneros which consists of 3 bedrooms (double, twin and single) - ideal for 5 people or Casa Limoneros/Casa Jardin combined to form a large 4/5 bedroomed villa suitable for 7-9 people plus cot. All villas have a sunny terrace ideal for alfresco eating with wonderful seaviews to the front and mountains to East and West. Jardin & Verano also have pretty walled gardens. They are equipped with Cable TV's (25 Sky channels), barbecue, iron/board and full cooking facilities. There are three large attractive pools on the 'Village' plus two infant pools. There is a tennis club almost next door to El Capistrano Village where you can hire courts/arrange coaching if required. A perfect location for a family holiday or long term winter rentals!

Casa Limoneros is a spacious three bedroomed unit arranged on one floor, bungalow style, with no-one above. As you enter the entrance gate you approach the villa via a superb terrace with wonderful seaviews, sunny areas and shaded areas. Doors lead from the terrace into the lounge, master bedroom and single bedroom. The villa consists of a lounge/diner with wood burning stove for cooler evenings, separate kitchen, bathroom, large double bedroom (ample room for a cot if required), twin bedroom with extra large single beds and single room. The villa is situated on a conveniently flat area of Capistrano, just a short walk from the supermarket yet in a quiet, pedestrian walkway. Parking close by. Sky tv in lounge and master bedroom. Large bbq on terrace with ample sunchairs/sunbeds/table/chairs. Ideal for family of 5 plus cot. Casa Limoneros can be combined with Casa Jardin to form a large 4/5 bedroomed villa for 7-9 people - ideal for extended family.

El Capistrano Village is an exclusive development consisting of established villas and apartments found in the most beautiful part of the Costa del Sol with an excellent climate. They are built in typical Andalusian style and are set on a hillside amongst lush, colourful gardens. The centre of Nerja is 1km away and is served by a public bus. The superb Burriana Beach and Mediterranean are also only 1km from Capistrano downhill. Nerja has become one of the most popular resorts east of Malaga in Southern Spain, whilst retaining much of its old charm and character of a former fishing village. Nestled at the foothills of the Sierra Almijara mountain range, Nerja must surely be one of the most beautiful spots along the Costa del Sol.

There are three large attractive pools on the complex plus two infant pools. There is a tennis club almost next door to El Capistrano Village where courts, and coaching if desired, can be booked in advance.

  • The prices above are for up to 5 people in Casa Limoneros.
    10% discount is given for 3+ weeks.
    These rates include a weekly change of linen/towels, water, electricity and cable TV x2 (25 channels).
    Please bring your own towels for beach and pools areas.
    Cot hire is available at £35 per week.


    Casa Limoneros can be combined with Casa Jardin to form a large villa for an extended family - 7-9 plus cot. Please telephone or email for further details.

    Arrival & Departure: The villas and apartments are available for occupation from 4 p.m. on the day of arrival and must be vacated by 11 a.m. on the day of departure. This is to ensure that the property can be cleaned and made ready for occupation between guests. There may be times when variations to these times are possible depending on in-coming/out-going guests. Please discuss if necessary.
  • Payment Terms: A deposit of £75 per week is required at the time of booking and the balance of payment is due eight weeks prior to travel. Bookings made within eight weeks of travel must be paid in full when booking.

    Travel Insurance: We would strongly recommend that you take out adequate travel insurance for each member of your party.
  • Cancellation: If, for any reason, you need to cancel your booking you should inform us as early as possible. If you cancel more than eight weeks before departure you will forfeit your deposit in full but will have no further payment to make.

    Damage: Unlike most other self-catering organisations, we do not insist on a damage deposit in advance. We do ask, however, that you replace any items which have been accidentally damaged or broken. If excessive cleaning is necessary after your visit (i.e. sofa, bedspreads, etc.) we would ask that you settle for this directly with our managing agent before departing.

    Car Hire: Car hire / taxi's (up to 4 people) / minibuses (4+ people) can be organised for your airport transfers if required.

At El Capistrano Village, everything has been taken care of for you to enjoy the most complete and successful holiday. The communal and private gardens are tended by professional gardeners throughout the year. The swimming pools are beautifully maintained with lifeguards on duty (peak season) and the pools are for the exclusive use of guests staying at Capistrano. There is a restaurant, pool bars and lively caves bar (Cueva Bar) for entertainment. The wonderful decoration of flowers on El Capistrano Village is typical of the charm and range of colours found all around the complex. Flower shrewn pathways with Andalusian lamps separate the properties.

The Sierra Almijara mountain range shelters Nerja from adverse winter weather and at the same time provides a breathtaking backdrop to the whitewashed red roofed villas. Nerja is only 45 minutes away from Malaga airport and only 90 minutes from one of Spain's most popular skiing resorts; the Sierra Nevada.

Nerja offers a variety of beaches along the coastline - the closest being Burriana Beach - one of the finest beaches on this stretch of coastline. Every Tuesday morning a market is held in the centre of Nerja which is full of colour and colourful characters. Here you can buy jewellery, leather, pottery and local crafts.

The Costa del Sol has, what is considered to be, the best all year round climate in Europe with typical temperatures ranging from 18c in the coolest months (Dec-Feb), 25c approximately in may/June/Sept/Oct and up to 31c in July and August.

This is an outstanding property - extremely well positioned, designed and maintained. Great views over Capistrano and Nerja which is a lovely resort with all amenties. Apart from the excellence of the property itself, the main feature which we valued was the lack of offensive noise, even although we were based in the centre of a lively urban development.

The information about the property and the surrounding area which we received before and during our holiday was extremely useful and informative.

The property is located reasonably close to the local amenities - bar/restaurant, supermarket and swimming pool complex, the latter being particularly attractive to us with an 18 month old child in our party.

I would have no hesitation in recommending this property to my friends and relatives.

New Year In Limonerous

My family have just come back from a week long holiday for the New Year. The villa suited our needs as we were a large group. The second part of the Villa was good for the teenagers who had a "little space" away on their own. The terrace was lovely for the early morning sun which was a welcome break from the British Bad weather. The days in and around the holiday rental were warm and comfortable and then during the night when, because of it being early January was a little cooler the log burner in the lounge was gorgeous. New Year on the Balcon De Europe was brilliant with live band and large firework display. The Villa had comfortable rooms. The Cave Bar just a few minutes walk away finished off relaxing days in the Spanish winter sun shine.
Recommended for:  Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers

Hot, hot!

Time has just flown by - all too soon it's time to go. Have thoroughly enjoyed lovely Nerja and all around. Fantastic villa, well equipped. Couldn't have asked for more. And the sun.... so so so hot, upper 30 degrees. Hopefully we'll be back very soon. xx

Enjoyed our stay immensely on El Capistrano Village. Highly recommend Casa Luque in Town. Enjoyed the well appointed villa, particularly the wide range of kitchen utensils which we used to full advantage. Car hire arrangements were superb - thank you Pauline. Would recommend Alhambra, Frigiliana & Competa. All in all a relaxing and delightful holiday.
