Casa Jardin and Casa Verano are pretty ground floor apartments with wonderful walled gardens and patios. Casa Jardin consists of a lounge (Sky tv)/kitchen with window and patio doors opening onto the garden, inner hall leading to twin bedroom and shower room with newly fitted walk-in shower. The walled garden and patio area has a bbq, table/chairs for 4 and wonderful central lemon tree offering shade when required. Inside Casa Jardin/Verano you will find all you need in the kitchen for self catering plus an iron, ironing board, etc. The rental price includes weekly linen change and bathroom towels. Please bring towels for the beach and swimming pools. Casa Jardin can also be incorporated with Casa Limoneros to form a large 4/5 bedroomed villa - ideal for extended families. Casa Limoneros offers an additional three bedrooms, lounge/diner, kitchen and bathroom. Combining Casa Jardin with Casa Limoneros offers perfect accommodation for a family of 7/8/9 people plus cot.

The Sierra Almijara mountain range shelters Nerja from adverse winter weather and at the same time provides a breathtaking backdrop to the whitewashed red roofed villas. Nerja is only 45 minutes away from Malaga airport and only 90 minutes from one of Spain's most popular skiing resorts; the Sierra Nevada. Nerja offers a variety of beaches along the coastline - the closest being Burriana Beach - one of the finest beaches on this stretch of coastline. Every Tuesday morning a market is held in the centre of Nerja which is full of colour and colourful characters. Here you can buy jewellery, leather, pottery and local crafts. The Costa del Sol has, what is considered to be, the best all year round climate in Europe with typical temperatures ranging from 18c in the coolest months (Dec-Feb), 25c approximately in may/June/Sept/Oct and up to 31c in July and August.

Notes: There is just one step on the path leading from the private gate to the entrance door. Fine for wheelchairs if you can manage one step and left turn to entrance door along narrow path. The garden is an excellent size for a one bedroomed apartment, being 80 sq metres.

El Capistrano Village is an exclusive development consisting of established villas and apartments found in the most beautiful part of the Costa del Sol with an excellent climate. They are built in typical Andalusian style and are set on a hillside amongst lush, colourful gardens. The centre of Nerja is 1km away and is served by a public bus. The superb Burriana Beach and Mediterranean are also only 1km from Capistrano downhill. Nerja has become one of the most popular resorts east of Malaga in Southern Spain, whilst retaining much of its old charm and character of a former fishing village. Nestled at the foothills of the Sierra Almijara mountain range, Nerja must surely be one of the most beautiful spots along the Costa del Sol.

There are three large attractive pools on the complex plus two infant pools. There is a tennis club almost next door to El Capistrano Village where courts, and coaching if desired, can be booked in advance. At El Capistrano Village, everything has been taken care of for you to enjoy the most complete and successful holiday. The communal and private gardens are tended by professional gardeners throughout the year. The swimming pools are beautifully maintained with lifeguards on duty (peak season) and the pools are for the exclusive use of guests staying at Capistrano. There is a restaurant, pool bars and lively caves bar (Cueva Bar) for entertainment. The wonderful decoration of flowers on El Capistrano Village is typical of the charm and range of colours found all around the complex. Flower shrewn pathways with Andalusian lamps separate the properties.

EL CAPISTRANO is a beautiful 'village'.
What a lovely apartment with a super garden; far more spacious than we expected for a one bedroomed property.
The large lemon tree provided a wonderful shaded area during the hottest part of the day, and the lemons were enjoyed in our gin and tonics!
Internally, Casa Jardin has a lovely bedroom and lounge over-looking the garden and the wonderful shower was a real treat.
We have already re-booked for 2010, and can't wait to return!

Thank you Pauline, not only for your useful information about Capistrano and Nerja but for arranging transport from and to airport. This was our first visit to Capistrano and may we say first of many, we are back again this year. Casa Verano was in a lovely location, very private, clean and comfortable with a view of the sea. The weather was absolutely brilliant for the week we stayed in September. We walked to Nerja every evening to sample the different restaurants, and also the entertainment on the plaza area. The bus service to the caves proved very convenient and value for money, they are really worth a visit. It was lovely to be able to have a week free of driving. Capistrano itself is well maintained, the gardens are lovely and the staff couldn't have been more helpful. We have recommended both the property and the site to friends and family members. We are really looking forward to our return this year.

Many thanks for introducing us to Casa Verano. This really is a lovely property, that is very well equipped and in an excellent location on Capitstrano. The view out to sea was an added bonus for us. Also, with no neighbours above, we found it a peaceful location.
Despite having been to Capistrano quite a few times over the last 5 years, we never tire of it. The grounds are kept so beautifully and the pool areas (both upper and lower pools) are delightful.
The weather in September was very good for the entire two weeks. This enabled us to eat all of our meals in the garden. We did stroll into town some evenings and back again, which is a great way to keep the weight down after some lovely meals in town!
Thank you for arranging our visit for next September, which we are both eagerly looking forward to.
