Hillcroft House is in an idyllic position to explore the dramatic and breathtaking Cornish Coast Line with all modern amenities and spacious accommodation. This attractive house sleep 6 comfortably but does accommodate for 8. Also with the added Bonus of an outside Heated Swimming Pool, Enclosed Garden and off road Ample Parking.Bed linen is provided..

Hillcroft is a 5 min walk to the Coast Path which can lead you to either Tintagel, Boscastle, Crackington Haven and many more local Coastal Villages. It is 10 minutes walk down to the Picturesque Harbour. You are in easy reach of some of the best-known surfing beaches on the North Cornish Coast for example Polzeath, Widemouth and Fistral - Newquay.

For those that enjoy excellent food, Rick Stein and Jamie Oliver have famous restaurants within easy reach and there are many other excellent local eateries specializing in traditional Cornish dishes.

  • The two double bedrooms have television and all have WI FI connection . There are plenty of wardrobe and drawer space. Hair dryers are provided in the dressing tables. The two Z beds can be accommodated in the two larger rooms or together in the spaceous top hallway. The bedrooms have individual electric heaters.They all over look the back garden and surrounding hills. All the beds have matching bedlinen,and are made up ready for the guests arrival. Fresh linen is provided on the beds every week even during long stays.

Hillcroft House is a spacious family property which has been recently decorated, with an excellent choice of facilities.

Large Comfortable Lounge with Wood burning Stove/Fire, Kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances, Dining room seating 8, WC.

1st Floor: Bed 1: King Size Bed, Bed 2: Double Bed, Bed 3: Twin Beds. There is an option to accommodate a further 2 people on Z-beds - Room in the 2 larger bedrooms or in the Hall. Bathroom with shower and corner bath.

Outside: Front - Off Road Ample Parking. Rear - Enclosed Garden & BBQ with Private Heated Swimming Pool - open May- October. Photos will be on in the spring, due to the pool is drained for the winter.

Includes: Linen, Central Heating, Electricity, Internet access

Notes:. No Smoking.

We have introduced 4 Chickens into the garden. They are seperated from the main garden by their enclosure, however,the guests may help themselves to the fresh eggs as and when they become available. The girls have been a great hit with our younger guests,and you do not have to worry, they are cleaned and fed along with our other routine garden maintenance.

You cannot beat a freshly laid egg with your cooked breakfast !!

Ski:

There is a water skiing school at Rock, which provides skiing for the novice as well as the more experienced skier.

The rates are available with information on bookings.

Golf:

There are several golf courses within a 10 mile radius.Information on the golf courses are provided in the let.

Other Activities:

Guided Kayak tours .Local seal colony.

Absolutely beautiful

Our family stay here last summer with our children was just fantastic - A lovely cosy property with a truly fantastic location and setting - beautiful and peaceful and yet just a short walk into the heart of beautiful Boscastle with so much for the kids to do and explore - really the best of both worlds.

The accomodation was incredibly spacious and very well maintained throughout. The living and dining rooms were exceptionally cosy and the kitchen was amazing - really well equipped and even better than our own at home! The bedrooms were comfortable and well proportioned and the kids absolutely loved the enclosed garden and private swimming pool. We sat outside most evenings enjoying the barbeque and the evening sun whilst the kids played - really a great family escape!

Without a doubt one of the best holidays we've been on - a truly idyllic stay that all of us have not stopped talking about. We will definitely be going back!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

Beautiful holiday home

We have just returned from a wonderful week in Boscastle staying in this lovely house. The property is fantastic, very, very spacious, clean, extremely well equipped and very well maintained. We filled the house with 3 generations aged from 7 months to 61 and had everything we could possibly need for a perfect break in such a beautiful area. It is also situated very close to the Napoleon, a very friendly pub which serves delicious home cooked food. Can't wait to return next year.

Excellent property

We (family with 3 kids) enjoyed our stay there.
The kids loved the pool and the chicken including fresh eggs every day.
The property was very spacious with best equipement.

We recommend the house to all guests who prefer a well equiped and broad holiday home.

Excellent Accomodation

We stayed at Highcroft House in August 2010 and thoroughly enjoyed our stay from start to finish. Hilary and Jim were very helpful, giving us information on all the local attractions.Weather was superb all week, so we made the most of the outdoor pool. The facilities in the house were excellent, loads of room and very clean.

Would certainly recommend this accomodation.

Just a note to anybody thinking of using Tredole Trekking pony rides lets say safety and isn't their top priorty!!!!
