The Aegean Blue Villa is an elegant home which far surpasses the average holiday villa. No expense has been spared to ensure a relaxing and comfortable stay. There are many modern comforts including a fully fitted kitchen, fully tiled bathrooms, one of which houses the washing machine; satellite TV, and a DVD player in the lounge; mosquito screens, Mediterranean blue aluminium doors, window frames, and shutters; and air conditioning units in the bedrooms and living room. The a/c units also double up as heaters for the cooler nights at the start and end of the season. The water is heated either by solar panel or back-up immersion heater. A hairdryer and a selection of books and DVD’s have been thoughtfully supplied.
The furnishings in the villa are particularly attractive and romantic with natural pine beds made at the workshop of a local craftsman, cream coloured French Provincial style furniture which has been delicately hand painted with floral motifs by skilled artists, comfortable cream couches, bedspreads made from pale gold taffeta, matching pale gold silk lampshades, marble table tops, and marble busts of Afrodite and Apollo. There are beautiful flower arrangements and scented candles throughout the villa to complete the pretty setting.
There are many outdoor seating areas for a choice of sun and shade, all of which share the lovely views including a bougainvillea covered BBQ/dining area and a comfortable seating area with a couch, 2 armchairs and a coffee table from where you can have an early evening drink whilst watching the fantastic sunsets or the evening ferry passing by on its way to Athens.
Dotted around the garden are clay pots, rockeries and flowerbeds which have been planted with an array of trees and flowering bushes. A small track and an olive grove lie to the rear of the villa.
