Sunningdale is located in the small cornish village of St Mellion. It is one of 20 homes on the exclusive Oakridge holiday estate. Oakridge extends to 40 private acres adjoining the fairways of the renowned St Mellion Golf & Country Club. Naturally free golf & leisure membership is included. Guests have a private walkway access to the grounds of the club (about 15 minutes walk to the club house). These stone and wood houses are modern and extremely light with huge floor to ceiling windows and vaulted ceilings. St Mellion is wonderfully located both for its superb facilities as well as its central location and proxi,ity to good roads.

St Mellion is synonymous with golf. 2 people get to play free on the old course for the duration of the stay and also benefit from full leisure club membership. The Nicklaus course is available at heavily reduced rates. Cotehele house a renowned NT property is minutes away. There are numerous restaurants (an award winning one 5 minutes away in Callington and Rick Steins in Padstow is about 40 minutes. Both north & south coast beaches are within a short drive.

  • These rate seasons should be used as a general guide only. Rates do vary week by week (some will be higher, some lower), please contact us for a precise quote. This especially applies to public & school holidays outside of the summer period which are likely to be higher than the 'rate' for that season.
  • The changeover day is on a Friday. During the off season we may consider other start days. Short breaks are available September to June (except school holidays).

    Free golf and leisure membership for 2 people is included. Other golfers pay the members guest rate and weekly leisure passes can also be purchased. Under 5s use the pool free of charge.

    We have 4 properties at this location so if you are a larger group why not all stay together but still have your own space!

The first impression you get on arrival at Oakridge, is one of leaving everthing else behind. The impressive 800 metre drive meanders through Oakridge's private woods. The houses have that feeling of light and space that you get with all upside down buildings. A large open plan lounge with kiychen amd dining area takes up the whole top floor. There is a large LCD TV with Sky and DVD player as well as an open fireplace for those chilly evenings. Although with full central heating yopu should never feel cold. There is a superb deck as well as a balcony overlooking the renowned Jack Nicklaus course. Downstairs there is a large master bedroom with beautifully detailed shower room. The bedroom has a king size bed and a full set of built in wardrobes. Just across the hall there is also a twin room with an en-suite bathroom.

The facilities at St Mellion are just superb. 3 wonderful pools, spa, gym and so much more. Memberships for 2 adults are included in the price. Additional memberships (young children 5 or under go free) can be obtained from the club at reasonable rates. If you play golf, the free use (for 2 people) of the wonderful new Kernow Course & reducerates on the Jack Nicklaus Signature course is just amazing value The Jack Nicklaus Course will host the English Open in 2011. But even if you are not a golfer, the lesiure facilities are wonderful for all memebsr of the family. There is ahuge gym, three indoor pools, tennis, Spa and so much more. A great way to relax after a hard day's touring.
