Villa Melissa is one of two lovely semi-detached villas elegantly set in mature gardens with a backdrop of forest and hills. Each villa has its own separate entrance and terraces. Located in a residential area of Gocek called Green Valley the villas are a short walk from the village centre and habourside cafes. Surrounded by fragrant pine trees, you are a minutes away from Port Gocek Marina and all its attractions, yet this special area has a rural and very peaceful atmosphere. Gocek village centre is a pedestrian area May through October. The village has banks, ATMS, excellent restaurants, two supermarkets, buchers, fish merchant, local grocer stores all providing high quality produce. There several marinas in the Gocek Bay area, one of the most stunning locations in the Aegean Mediterranean. Gocek's heavy winter rain Jan- March ensures the area remain lush and green even during the hot season. In 2009's summer season, May to October Gocek experienced only 6 wet days.

Gocek still has a village atmosphere and you will be welcomed by everyone with charm and wonderful service. A world famous centre for sailing and the stop-off point for cruising 'super yachts' in the high season, Gocek's relaxed atmosphere is a tonic to everyone who visits. Guessing who is on the visiting super yachts and 'celebrity' spotting is a pastime enjoyed by locals and visitors alike. Gocek remains a family and couples resort and the nightlife is focussed towards dining out. Although many bars and cafes opened until the wee hours, bars are not allowed to play loud music after midnight. There is a music/dancing bar in the village square and several bars have gained a following of regulars who enjoy listening to the owners' wonderful music collections. Gocek is close to Dalyan and Fethiye, it is a worthwhile visit to both towns to view the ancient Lycian tombs and amphitheatres.

    The owners are pleased to welcome families with children and babies, cot and extra bed for parent's room if required. Evening baby sitting service by special arrangement.

    Preferred arrival day is Friday, Saturday or Monday. We will accommodate your booking outside of these days if we can.

    Your villa will be thoroughly cleaned before your arrival and beds will be made-up. A welcome grocery and refreshments pack will be provided.

    To help conserve the environment and keep water and electricity costs to a reasonable level, bed linen is changed once a week, with fresh bath/hand towels provided twice a week when the maid cleans.

    Guests are kindly requested to bring personal stereo/ipod for use at the poolside to preserve the tranquil atmosphere of the area.

These villas are well appointed family homes, ideal for two or three couples and families with children, each villa is very comfortable for 6 guests; with two additional guests accommodated on a sofa bed. Cot available for baby. Imaginatively decorated throughout in a sympathetic mix of modern Mediterranean and Turkish styles. Villa Melissa (and Villa Papatya next door) offer the very best in Mediterranean living. Each villa has a fully equipped kitchen, three airconditioned, en-suite bedrooms, 2 with balconies, master-suite with private roof terrace. Villa Papatya is normally occupied by the owners in the spring and autumn months.

Villa guests have sole use of the very large swimming pool (with easy entry steps at the 1.4 metres end ladder at the deep end 1.8 metres), shady seating areas and private guest bar with two fridges. Visitors to Gocek can use the private beach at Port Gocek (daily charge), Inlice Beach only 10 minutes drive away or take a water taxi to Gocek Island beach. Rental includes daily pool service and twice weekly maid service. All bed linens and towels provided, including pool towel for each guest. Additional maid service available on request for a small charge. Some DVDs and CDs are provided for guest use, including dvds suitable for children. Guests should also bring personal music and dvd film choices to be sure of finding something they like. Please contact the owners for additional photographs of the villas' living areas and bedrooms.
