Located on the outskirts of a typical Languedocian village, five minutes walk from the village centre, this self-contained property is set in a large garden, shared with the owners who live next door. The annexe is attached to the main house but enjoys complete privacy, having its own covered terrace looking out over the garden.

St Pargoire is a lively village with a weekly market, and a good range of shops as well as a restaurant, a pizzeria and a bar. It is only 15 minutes from the fascinating towns of Pezenas and Clermont l'Herault and there are many sites of historical interest within easy reach. The picturesque port of Meze, with its restaurants and beach on the Thau lagoon is only 20 minutes away and the Mediterranean coast itself 30 minutes away. Montpellier and Beziers are also within easy reach. Both Montpellier and Beziers airports are served by Ryanair and there are low cost flights to the airports of Nimes, Carcassonne and Perpignan, all about 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours away.

    A 'Welcome Pack' of tea, coffee, sugar, milk, wine, bread, butter and jam is provided.

    Prices are per week and include electricity, water, linen and towels (but not beach towels.) Changeover day is usually Saturday but can be flexible to take advantage of low cost flights.

    Rental starts at 4 p.m. and ends at 10 a.m.A 25% deposit is required on booking and the balance 6 weeks before arrival. A security deposit of 150 Euros is required on arrival and will be returned after satisfactory inspection of the house on departure. Cleaning is carried out prior to arrival but if you do not have time to leave the house in the same condition 50 Euros will be charged for cleaning. Payment is accepted in Sterling and Euros.

The property is entered from the large covered terrace equipped with table and chairs, sun loungers and barbecue. Large french windows give access to the living/dining room which has a well-equipped kitchen area with fridge-freezer, dish-washer, electric cooker, microwave, iron and ironing board. The building has been tastefully restored and decorated and has an exposed stone wall in this room. Also on the ground floor is the double bedroom which has a beautiful stone vaulted ceiling and a french window which opens out into the garden and affords views of the countryside. An open staircase leads from the living room to the first floor gallery. At this level there is a large twin bedroom, with open views, and a shower room.
