The apartment is situated in the beautiful village of Thollon. The village runs good skiing ideal for young families and it is inexpensive with the family in mind. The village runs a ski school and takes individual lessons and group sessions. The board park is popular with the locals and tourists. Thollon is an all year round retreat and is one of the most beautiful areas of Europe I have visitied in the spring and summer. The walking and bike riding routes and paths are spectacular with superb views across Lake Geneva. Some of the photos are on our website and photos are in the apartment. The area is packe dwith an abundance of activities for all ages. There is a bowling alley at the next village of Bernex , a mountain lake nearby which is a great lido in the summer. In the ski season,Thollon is ideally situated so that within one hour there are about 8 other ski resorts if you crave variety. Being near the easily accesible Swiss border means you can ski between countries.

The towns around Lake Geneva are beautiful in summer and winter with the Lake ferries making them all very accessible. At the bottom of the mountain from Thollon is the town of Evian made famous by the water. Natural Evian water flows through the taps in the apartment! Evian is a spa town with a lovely outlook to Switzerland across the lake. If you fancy a game of Tennis , Evian Tennis club is very friendly and boasts some lovely courts. About one hour into Switzerland is the Thermal Baths at Lavery. These are worth a visit any time of year and I guarantee you won't want to come home! The village boasts all the amenities you need with two supermarkets, a bakers, fromagerie, newsagents, several bars and restaurants all of which I have tried and not been disappointed.
