The Villa is a beautifully converted 17th century dairy which boasts many of the quirks and features of the original farmhouse, including the exposed oak beams, but it also has a light, airy and more Mediterranean feel. The house is comfortable and relaxing with a king-size sleigh bed in the master bedroom and a large open-plan living and kitchen area.

La Mancellière, on the borders of Normandy, Brittany and the Loire Valley, is a 5 minute walk from the pretty village of Buais and a 10 minute drive from the bustling market town of St. Hilaire du Harcouet with Normandy's largest farmer's market. We are 40 minutes from the World Heritage site of Mont Saint Michel and the beautiful surrounding beaches of Brittany's Emerald Coast. We have tons of local attractions nearby for both adults and children, including Alligator Bay, The Enchanted Village at Bellefontaine, Dinan and Dinard and the spectacular chateau and wine regions of the Loire Valley. The Manche region is a fantastic place to enjoy outdoor pursuits and we have river-fishing, horse-riding, walking and cycling on our doorstep. There are 250 kilometres of Green Routes in the region which are reserved solely for walkers, horses and horse-drawn vehicles. There are also 1,000 kilometres of dedicated cycle trails for all levels and abilities.

The Villa sleeps up to 6 people and has a light, airy, Mediterranean feel. The bedrooms are bright, sunny and beautifully decorated with local artisanal furniture. The master bedroom has a lovely oak sleigh bed and double doors leading out to the front of the property. The twin room has 2 single beds and a view out to the gardens at the rear of the house. We have a double pull-out sofa bed in the main living area and a modern shower room with heated towel rail. The living area and kitchen are open-plan, spacious and very comfortable. Here you can find a large range cooker and fully equipped kitchen with microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and coffee maker. The dining table seats 6 and the living area has comfy sofas with TV, video and DVD player. Please feel free to choose DVDs from our library during your stay. We also offer high-speed WiFi internet access free of charge. Please ask us for more details.
