The property stands on over an acre of grassland, on a hillside overlooking a picturesque valley lined with hazelnut woodlands. The ground floor consists of a large living room with oak beams and wood burning stove, dining room with seating for six, modern, bright kitchen with all appliances and a master bedroom with double bed and separate shower room and WC. The second double bedroom is located on the first floor along with the main bathroom complete with French style roll top bath. There is also a single bed available in the living room. Outside there are two patio areas where you will find easy chairs, wooden dinning set and charcoal BBQ perfect for alfresco dining.
The nearest village is Campsegret, just a ten minute walk from the property; here you will find a boulangerie, wine cave, two restaurants and a mobile butcher who visits three times a week.
For a bigger selection of shops, restaurants and to visit the outdoor market, the town of Bergerac is just twenty five minutes away by car. There is much to do in the area including fishing, walking, horse riding, canoeing and even hot air ballooning all available. There are many wonderful towns and villages to explore, not to mention the vineyards, wine caves and fresh produce markets. The climate in the Dordogne brings quite hot summers which can stretch from April to October; it would not be unusual to be able to eat outdoors during the late summer / early autumn.
