The cottage is situated at the foot of Banton Loch which is part of the Colzium Country Park Estate providing fishing, country walks and children’s outdoor play area on your doorstep. The nearby Forth and Clyde canal network is only a 5 minute cycle and is overlooked by the Antonine Wall, a world heritage site. This beautiful waterway leads East to the impressive Falkirk Wheel and West towardsKirkintilloch.. For those planning to head further afield the motorway network is only a 5 minute drive away and provides fast easy access to Stirling, Edinburgh and Glasgow. The Cottage is newly built to a very high standard and features good insulation, double glazing and downstairs under floor heating. The building also takes advantage of green energy and is heated by a 'Ground Source Heat Pump' system providing a very comfortable living environment from a renewable source.

Downstairs, the property is wheelchair accessible throughout and features a fully fitted kitchen with dining area for up to 12 people, a very large living room with leather sofas, TV, DVD and games area. Furthermore, it has 1 double bedroom with en-suite WC wet floor shower room with grab rails, a utility room with washer drier plus a separate cloak room toilet. Upstairs, the property has 2 good sized twin/double bedrooms with storage, 1 family bathroom with feature bath, large shower and vanity unit, 1 exceptionally large master bedroom with king size sleigh bed with en-suite featuring double end bath, shower and twin basins. There is also a hallway sitting area with bookcase for those needing a place to relax. To celebrate your stay, we are offering a complimentary meal in the local village pub free of charge on your first night.

This pub is a pleasant walk along the loch side to the ‘Swan Inn’ in Banton village and provides you the opportunity to explore the beautiful surrounding countryside.
