New Luxury Riverside Lodge, Meadow Views, Davidstow, Camelford, Nr Bodmin Moor, North Cornwall. Waterside Lodge/Cottage is an English Heritage, oak framed lodge with 3 bedrooms, sleeping 6 people. There is a riverside garden with plenty of space for children to play. It has a low picket fence, & lovely views to the meadow on the other side of the river & a large patio area with a substantial patio dining set and barbecue. At times you can watch the sheep or cows grazing. A wonderful holiday let. See rental rates and availability below. Short breaks of 3 nights or more/variable changeover days & reductions for 2/3 persons from 1st Oct - 31st Mar (excluding Christmas and New Year period) Autumn Events:- 21st Nov - Gift Fair, Tremayne Hall, Mylor Bridge November - Cambourne Music Festival. The Eden Project has an ice rink open from 24 Oct to 21 Feb with a winter forest theme, Curling, Xmas Shopping, Santa, Carols, lantern processions and strolls through the Biomes after dark.

All radiators have their own thermostatic timed controls and the cost of electricity is included in the price. There is a gas stove (wood burner effect) in the lounge area. A selection of tennis racquets & balls (for adults & children) is provided. Outside is the ideal backdrop for dining and relaxation, listening to the River Inny. The property is surrounded by a picket fence, but young children must be supervised, due to the close proximity of the river.

The self catering property is set in a tranquil valley on the edge of the River Inny in a select, gated, managed development, near to Camelford. The garden adjoins the River Inny. The lodge is close to the North Cornwall coast, situated on the edge of Bodmin/Davidstow Moor. Come to enjoy the peaceful setting, listening to the river flowing by. Enjoy wonderfully relaxing evenings with a glass of wine; listen to the variety of visiting birds. There are 2 double bedrooms on the first floor, (1 with a double bed and TV, the other with 2 single beds - one of these is an under guest bed, which will be made up for you, if required.) There is another bedroom on the ground floor with a double bed, and a very comfortable open plan kitchen/dining/lounge area. A welcome tray is provided and a provisions box from a local farm shop can be provided at an extra cost upon request. All radiators have their own thermostatic, timed controls. The lounge area has a gas stove (wood burner effect)

There are heated towel rails in the bathrooms. Together with excellent insulation, this makes the lodge an ideal property to visit during the colder months. It looks extremely pretty when everywhere is frosted over and just as lovely when covered in snow, as it was earlier in the year.

This accommodation offers the cosiness of a cottage with the style, decoration and space of a larger property.
The open plan living, dining and kitchen is beautifully equipped and furnished and everything is provided for a comfortable holiday.
The 3 bedrooms were well proportioned and the downstairs double combined with the ground floor bathroom/wet room was ideal.
The accommodation was beautifully clean for our arrival and the bed linens and towels are of an extremely high quality.
Although the weather did not provide an opportunity to sit outside and enjoy the garden, the aspect overlooking the water was attractive to look at and listen to.
I would not hesitate to recommend this property.

Lovely lodge!

It was our first visit to Cornwall with the girls and what a lovely break we had – despite the weather! The lodge is a real home from home – it had everything we needed, was very clean and in a lovely quiet location. The girls loved it and also made good use of the tennis courts when they could. It’s a great base to visit the surrounding areas. We will certainly be recommending it to our friends and family and hope to return sometime soon.
