Thank you so very much for the loan of your lovely apartment! We had an amazing holiday & fell in love with Kalkan. What a hidden Gem! Truly beautiful.

The apartment was so well thought out with everything we could possibly need, even had several books on my list of ones I wanted to read!! Perfect.

The info pack was excellent & really helped.

You weren’t joking about the heels! I tried one night (as I love heels) and ended up bare foot as it was impossible. Still a fab excuse to wear flats for a change & be comfy!

The restaurants were delicious & such good value for money. We loved the Thursday market, I brought so much nearly needed an extra suitcase to take it all home! Had a trip on Falcon, again great & spent many a day at Carette Beach hotel by the sea.

And still there was much left to do, a return trip seems a must!!

So, again a huge thank you we can see exactly why you love it there too. Who wouldn't! And we look to returning again soon.

A fabulous apartment with everything you could wish for - modern, spacious, air con and a brilliant kitchen. Everything was clean, crisp and akin to a plush modern hotel. The listing was spot on and the apartment exceeded even the glowing reviews.

Both balconies offer wonderful views and you feel just as comfortable staying in and enjoying the apartment as you do going out and exploring. The apartment overlooks the main part of Kalkan and harbour, with some small islands in the distance.

There are numerous local activities and attractions on offer - easily accessible from the dolmus (bus) service from the very closely located bus station. We would recommend a day trip to Patara beach (voted one of the best in the world and quite rightly so) and to also try out the local beach clubs that are accessible by free boat transfer in the harbour. The walk into town is pleasant, if a little hot in the peak sun, and we recommend stopping at the delightful bars on the way back up to stay hydrated!

Further afield there are trips to Saklikent Gorge and Tlos that are worth trying, again accessible via bus or one of the tour operators in town. With
all your activities a car is definitely not needed - and the price of petrol and steep hills only emphasise that further upon arrival.

If you're after something more relaxing then the infinity pool is the perfect place to spend your days, offering delight literally on your doorstep.

Dining out involves a great deal of choice; our personal favourites are Sofra Sofra and Kalamaki restaurants both with spectacular views and delicious extensive menus . A great source of information about dining out, that is always up to date, is tripadvisor.com - worth a look as some former favourites and recommendations have dissolved or been taken over.

We thoroughly recommend this property to any traveller wishing to experience the beautiful town of Kalkan and its surrounding areas.

Just spent 2 weeks in July in this fabulous apartment in Kalkan. On 2 floors, the layout is excellent, with a penthouse en suite with a spa bath with amazing views and a roof terrace with views to die for. We watched the sun set behind the mountains as we drank wine. Every luxury is provided - including Sky TV, some excellent films Air conditioning and even wifi. We appreciated the big beach towels, wheeled sunbeds, mattresses and huge umbrella by the infinity pool which is a good size, about 30 feet.
Kalkan is a special place where the locals are welcoming and we found eating out was good value. We especially enjoyed Kaya Bar and Restaurant, The Olive Garden, Kalamaki and the cafe at the Bus Station where you go into the kitchen and choose your dishes - delicious and very cheap. A taxi up from town was only 3.50 so the hill wasn't a problem. A must-do trip is the sunken city of Kekova with stops for swimming and lunch.
We made friends with locals and other English people and had a great holiday. We will certainly return to this apartment.
