Fox's Crossing is set in a delightful and quiet location surrounded by fields, hills and countryside, nestling in a hamlet between Dover and Folkestone. In an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and right in the heart of White Cliffs Country, it is perfectly located for families and couples to explore countryside and woodland, beach and shore, orchards and oasthouses, as well as perhaps a day trip to France for some continental cuisine just across the Channel! There is easy access to the clifftop, gorgeous beaches and amenities, and walking distance to an excellent pub/restaurant. Perfect!

If you don't fancy any watersports, sea angling is allowed all around the coast, and you could be eating fresh sea bass, mackerel or sole. Nearby Folkestone is a bustling fishing port and you can savour the catch of the day fresh from the fishing boats.

  • Please bring your own beach towels, thank you.
    Well behaved dogs are allowed, but sorry no cats.
    Please do not allow your dog in the bedrooms.
    Strictly no smoking at the property except outside only.

    Refundable breakages deposit of £100 required, to be refunded within 2 weeks of your departure (subject to a satisfactory property inspection).

    One third of total rental due within 2 weeks of booking with the balance payable no later than 6 weeks before arrival.
    Payment required in full if booking within 6 weeks of arrival.

    Utilities charge £25pw Oct to start of May. Logs provided free in the colder months.
    Towels, tea towels, bedlinen included in the rate.
    Highchair and cot available free of charge - by advance notice please.

    Late arrivals must be pre-agreed with us. Lets are usually Saturday to Saturday. We accept payment by cheque or electronic bank transfer - all charges to be paid by the holidaymaker.
  • Short Breaks are available and rates are as follows (not available in high season):
    2 nights - 45% of the weekly rate
    3 nights - 50% of the weekly rate
    4 nights - 65% of the weekly rate
    5 nights - 75% of the weekly rate
    6 nights - 90% of the weekly rate

The cottage is light, airy and very spacious, with new, relaxing decor throughout. In the comfortable living room there is a unique central log fire for cooler evenings. The room has two large bay windows which flood the room with plenty of natural light. The kitchen is spacious and is very well equipped, with a lovely view of the garden from the window and door which leads out onto the patio - perfect for breakfast on sunny mornings. The large, pretty garden is equipped for al fresco dining, and there are magnificent views to gaze at whilst lounging in the sunshine or under a tree, listening to the gentle hum of bees. It is a haven for wildlife and frequent visitors are rabbits, squirrels, pheasants and woodpeckers as well as numerous other birds, and butterflies. With two double bedrooms and one with adult size bunk beds, Fox's Crossing is ideal for families and couples alike.

There are several gorgeous beaches to explore and there is plenty to do and see - children will love rockpooling, and the local adventure playground. Just up the road, there's a long established Clifftop Cafe which is very popular with everyone - the panoramic views are breathtaking. The cottage is ideally situated for everyone to experience the diverse scenery, history and culture of this famous Cinque Port.
