Teignmouth is an historic port & traditional seaside town. It has a working port with ships, fishing vessels & pleasure boats travelling between sea & estuary. Teignmouth boasts a Victorian Pier with a beach that stretches the length of the town. The estuary side of the town is a lively place of fishing boats, beach huts & waterside inns, with the village of Shaldon just across the water which can be reached by road or by passenger ferry. There are lots of leisure facilities including tennis, crazy golf, bowls, children's adventure playground, lido, canoeing, sailing & scuba diving. Nearby is the bustling market town of Newton Abbot with it's famous racecourse, along with Torquay, Brixham and Dawlish, all within easy reach by train or car. You could also enjoy one of the many festivals that Teignmouth hosts whether it be Music or Art. For serious walkers you could visit Dartmoor & Teignmouth itself sits on the coastal path stretching the length of the Devon coastline.

    Should your stay be longer than one week the cottage will be cleaned and linen changed at the end of the first week. Owners will meet at the property on arrival to issue keys.

Teign Cottage is a delightful end terraced cottage nestled in the heart of the seaside town of Teignmouth. The accommodation enjoys a tucked away position approximately 10 minutes walk from the train station, coach park, town centre & beach. This lovely cottage has been recently redecorated providing cosy family accommodation but still retaining charm & character. The cottage comprises of a cosy lounge with TV/DVD/Freeview, kitchen diner with cooker and microwave, utility room with washing machine and fridge, modern wetroom and two bedrooms (1 double; 1 twin). To the rear of Teign Cottage is a pretty furnished courtyard garden where you can enjoy a cold drink in the evening. There is on street parking in the streets surrounding Teign Cottage or a Public Car Park close by (weekly tickets available from Tourist Information).
