The balcony of our apartment at La Isla overlooks the large lagoon style swimming pool and beautifully maintained gardens - ideal for sunny breakfasts and long leisurely lunches. The apartment is in an excellent location approx 3 minutes stroll from Javea's main sandy beach, an area offering safe bathing and beach & water sports, around which lies a wide promenade with bars, restaurants and shops - equally lively during the daytime or evening. The attractive port and historic old town of Javea are less than 3 km away, and there are some excellent golf courses within a 20 mile radius. Horse riding is available about 10 minutes drive away and the tennis club is a 2 minute walk away. The nearest large supermarket is about a 5 minute drive. Nearest airports are Alicante or Valencia, both about 1 1/2 hours by car.

Javea's broad sandy beach is ideal for families with its play areas and wide promenade. There are bars and restaurants to suit every taste and pocket. Other beaches nearby include Granadella, Ambolo (naturist), Denia and Cumbre del Sol. Oliva, about 3/4 hour away has a very long sandy beach. There are coastal walks to the north and south of Javea, as well as into the mountains around Jalon. Javea port also has a good selection of restaurants and bars and this is where you can book a boat trip or buy fish fresh from the boats. Ferries to Ibiza run from Denia. Benidorm with all its attractions is just over 40 minutes away by car.

The apartment has two light & airy bedrooms, one with a king size bed and the other with twin beds. Both bedrooms have built in wardrobes. There is a fresh white bathroom with bidet and shower over bath. The kitchen is well equipped with microwave, new fridge-freezer, washing machine, gas hob and electric oven. The comfortable lounge/ dining area has a sofa and 2 armchairs as well as a dining table with 4 chairs. There is a small TV, DVD & VCR, Radio with CD player. French windows lead onto the balcony with garden table and 4 chairs. There are 2 sunbeds, 2 deckchairs and a parasol for beach use. The gardens are accessible to residents only, and feature mature trees, flowering shrubs and manicured lawns, making it an ideal place for relaxing in the sun or shade. The large lagoon style pool has bridges, an island and shallow children's area.

There is a mini mart, 2 bakeries, newsagent, pizzeria and several bars and restaurants just a couple of minutes walk from the apartment. Tourist information, banks and Police Station are also within easy walking distance nearby.

Could not have chosen a better location for a family holiday even if we had visited the area first.
Apartment is probably on the best side of the complex with the balcony and main bedroom overlooking the lovely tropical pool area. All this just a short stroll from the middle of lovely Arenal beach which was perfect for the day and evening for its selection of bars and restaurants.
Perfect relaxation.
