Cremia is a small village in the northern part of the lake, which has ancient origins, as there have been many archaeological finds in the area. Cremia consists of many different hamlets, some dating back to Roman times, which start at the lakeside and go up to the slopes of Mount Bregagno. The Church of San Vito, is situated in the district of the same name, and was the old parish church. It is a lovely medieval building and is beautifully decorated. It also has small suspended arches and another unusual feature is the bell tower, which has mullioned windows. There are three aisles with pointed arches and a cross vault with ribbing from the fourteenth century. Golf & Skiing Italy's oldest golf course, established in 1907 with 18 holes Par 70, is located above Menaggio near Croce, in Grandola ed Uniti, approx. 20 min. by car. Tel: +39 344 321 03.   • Cleaning Costs
    There is a final cleaning cost of €70 when staying for one week & €90 when staying for two weeks with all bed-linen & towels included. If staying for two weeks or more – the bed-linen & towels will be refreshed after each week. All utility usage such as water, electricity & gas, are included in the rental price.

Beautifully located apartment, newly furnished, located in Cremia; a small village in the northern part of the lake, in a privileged position directly infront of a habour, very quiet with lovely lovely gardens with a gate on the right of the gardens which leads onto a small beach where it is possible to launch canoes from. The apartment is on the first floor (there is an elevater), it has two bedrooms (double and twin bedded), 1 modern full bathroom, kitchen and living room. The living with its beautiful lake views gives the feeling of actually being on the lake, and is perfect for those lazy Lake Como evenings. To ensure your are always up to date the property also has its own TV. There is a balcony from where you can enjoy the spectacular views of the lake and habour. The balcony provides the perfect spot for an alfreso lunch or just a nice glass of afternoon wine, brought from one of the local stores.

The properties location is excellent with all of the conviences of being on the Western Side of the lake ranging from the use of the local bus, to the ease of reaching a ferry port to commute accross the lake and see all of the quaint lake front towns. There are two restaurants next door and close by: La Baia and Lumin (pizzeria and fresh bread in the morning). Both are located on the waters edge. It is possible to walk to Pianello where you can find a decent small grocery store and the best family run bakery around.

We absolutelly loved staying at the Potobello Balcone. It was very clean and modern inside. It was a little difficult to find the apartment because there are 2 elevators to different parts of the building where the apartment is located. There is a great restaurant right below just a few feet away. The views from our apartmetn were spectacular and all of Lake Como was awesome. While we were there we went to Lake Lucerne in Switzerland but preferred the majestic views of Lake Como much better. There is a train ride to St. Moritz, Switzerland that I would highly recommend. We loved taking the ferry boats across Lake Como and visit all the neighboring towns. This trip was truly one of the best vacations ever!
