Location, location, location. Number 4 is in an enviable position being directly on the beach and without doubt the best location on the brand new Porto Antigo 2 Residence. From the terrace you are just 30 meters away from the ocean and can see the whole of Santa Maria bay, it would be impossible to be any closer to the ocean. Surfers you can launch your board in just a few steps from the terrace; no need for that long walk up the beach. Seating on the terrace provides locked storage for bulky items; surf boards, kites, pushchairs and suitcases. The view from your terrace is absolutely stunning but dont take our word for it ; experience it yourself at an unbelievable rate of less than £300 per week. One guest described the view as "perfect; like a photograph from a holiday brochure".

Kite surfing, Windsurfing, and diving all just a short stroll. PADI Dive centre www.mantadivingcenter.com. Within a few minutes walk sailing and fishing trips can be arranged from the pier. Hire a jet ski, bananna boat or pedalos. Take a trip on the yellow submarine or just chill on the beautiful white sandy beach with lunch from the beach club BBQ. Finish off with a walk along the beach. Hire a quad bike, bicycle or scooter and expolre the island at your own pace. Island hop to the other islands by boat or plane. Take an island excursion and vist the blue eye, local schools (the teachers appreciate pens and paper not sweets), the mirage, Espargos and Palmeria. Also worth a visit is Pedra de Lume which is an an extinct volcanic crater; here you can float in the salty waters.

All year round sunshine, white beaches and clear blue waters welcome to the Cape Verde Islands. The Porto Antigo residence is situated on the tropical island of Sal, a water sports and sun worshipper’s paradise. New 1 bedroom air conditioned ground floor property with spacious terrace to enjoy alfresco dining and that gorgeouus uninterupted sea view. Imagine waking up to this view every morning then enjoying breakfast whilst listening to the waves lapping against the shore. At night time enjoy a glass of something chilled whilst watching the sun set over the bay. We have experienced some fabulous sunsets (see photograph). The Porto Antigo Residence's with their large pools, hardwood decking and beautifully landscaped gardens are regarded as being the most prestigious developments on the island of Sal, this is the place everyone wants to stay. Testimony to this are the number of guests returning for their 3rd/4th visit.

We have been renting on Porto Antigo 1 since January 2007. See our guest book CS18765 and CS30153. The exclusive new Porto Antigo 2 Residence is situated on the stunning beach of Santa Maria within a few minutes walk of Santa Maria town where you will find shops, banks, pharmacy and in excess of 50 places to eat and drink. Porto Antigo is a 15 min taxi ride from Sal airport (10 euros).
