The house (a perfect rectangle on 3 floors) faces south-east and its terraced patio is covered by beautiful vines supported by a wooden pergola.

Villa Mons is situated in a secluded hamlet in the commune of Mons, between the dramatic gorges of the Siagne and Siagnole, where you can paddle or picnic. The hamlet is peaceful and sheltered with marvellous views over the nearby hills. There are a local grocer, baker and 3 restaurants in the village. There is plenty to do in this part of Provence whether it be dining in local, Provençal restaurants in Mons and Fayence or going on a wide range of walks and hikes to admire the spectacular scenery. Take a drive down to the French Riviera beaches only which are only 45 minutes away or visit the stunning Gorges de Verdon. Discover the mountain rivers and their gorges (Siagne and Siagnole), which offer great picnic, bathing and climbing spots. Along the Siagnole, Romans built an aqueduct and elements of their labour remain in 'La Roche Taillee', which graces most guide books.

Outside the house, a cobbled patio is ideal for outdoor eating - a special place under the vines in the summer. The view from the house is stunning. Mons itself is 7 minutes away by car and sits unchanged on a rocky outcrop for 1,000 years, with spectacular views to the Mediterranean. Set in its own land, spectacular views greet you from every angle. With no immediate neighbours the property is in the perfect location for those who want to get away from it all.
